Oh my gosh I can hardcore relate to never being satisfied. It actually used to be a massive fear of mine, that no matter what I’d never be grateful and never be satisfied. The ONLY times in my life where I’ve actually been COMPLETELY satisfied beyond belief was when I surrendered to Jesus Christ and accepted Him. It wasn’t immediate satisfaction, it was a serious process of repentance, but I bet if I asked Him to help me be fully satisfied in Him then, I would’ve experienced what I did sooner. When I would pray to be extremely grateful, extremely joyful, and extremely humble, everyday was like the best day ever and I used to have crippling depression back then. There were times where I was so close to Him that I felt ABSOLUTE TOTAL SATISFACTION and it blew my mind because it had nothing to do with things, goals, hobbies, nice weather, etc. It was a full inner fulfillment that poured out of me and He gave me such joy. That doesn’t mean I can’t have goals, like to buy things and stuff, but there was no longing for more anymore, it was like being high on life. The only true satisfaction is in Christ because we were made to have fellowship with God and because of sin we are separated. Imagine a massive empty space in every single person that everyone is trying to fill with money, things, sex and no matter what, we’re never satisfied. That spiritual space is supposed to be filled with Jesus Christ. I’m speaking from experience and knowing other believers who have said similar things. Turn to Him ❤️ Jeremiah 29:13 “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
