Hi everybody!

I wanted to keep you updated on what the heck I've been doing lately since I had some hesitations about where I should head to with my campaign.

With Cumshot Simulator release last month which showcased better graphics, there was a lot of work to do to implement that in Glassix 2 and I'm still not done yet since I need to process lots of textures and update some code to make it work with characters, outfits, buildings, locations and furniture.

Here is a sample of the results so far:

First reaction would be, is there any difference? Overall, they are similar, eyebrows are a bit smoother, skin a bit darker and feels less plastic maybe. But the actual upgrade is how the skin shines depending on camera angle, so here is another shot.

This one should better show how the skin feels more real life and reacts dynamically with surrounding lighting depending on camera angle. This upgrade will impact not only skins but outfits, buildings, locations and furniture. Once I'm done updating and generating the existing textures, the game should visually get prettier.

The process will take more time and I've also been delayed by some ideas I had on where to go with my campaign and I've been testing some stuff around. I'll try to sum up my way of thinking.

I enjoy working on Glassix 2 but as many of you have stated or thought, it's more of a tech demo at the moment. It's going slow, the project is ambitious, I want stuff in game to be fully customizable and moddable by the players, most of the game content is loaded from external files so that long term, it'll be super easy to add more models to the game. I want to add editors for all game aspect so players can create their own characters, cities, rooms, furniture and so on... On top of that, I do have lots of experience with coding but game development still requires lots of new aspects to master like shaders or lighting and I did have a lot of update purely optimizing stuff and not adding much content. There is still a ton of stuff to work on to even start making Glassix 2 feel like a basic sandbox game to play.

Working on Cumshot Simulator was mainly to test more stuff but also have a proper basic product to showcase. Completing it, even if it has no gameplay, does feel more rewarding than releasing optimization patches for Glassix 2 so I was thinking if it might be an idea to work upon. If you've followed me for a long time, you might now before working on Glassix 2, I had ideas for 2 other games which would also be 3D using the same assets. Vampire Revenge Rebirth and Lust City (names might change) and since Glassix 2 might take much more time to have something properly playable, it might interest patrons to instead switch to a less complex game like one of the two mentioned. So I started to check what I'd need for Vampire Revenge which would be in a fantasy settings and would require such races and outfits. I already owned lots of assets from Daz from a few years back which was an opportunity to test out and I've imported one such sorceress dress to see how it'd go. Here is a preview.

But as always, it doesn't work like it should, this outfits has lots of extra bones which mess up the animations and would require lots of extra work to make it work so I didn't push further. Instead, I focused on another aspect which would be required which would be fantasy races. Unlike Glassix 2 which has full facial customization, I wanted to use Daz face presets which is instead 1 morph handling the whole face at once, like this.

The idea would be to select a few fantasy races which will be used in Vampire Revenge Rebirth, select a few face presets for each races so they do feel a bit different from each other and of course, adjust their size, skin color, ear morph... To keep it simple, it would be 3 different sizes, tall, average, small. Some face presets are closer to toons but could work for small races like gnome/hobbit/goblin and whatnot.

So I've been playing a few days with all that, results are quite nice but it would not be as fast as I thought it would be due to the outfits issues so I put that on stand by again since I've side tracked on this for more time than planned.

Now my goal for the end of this month is to finish the textures/shaders updates for Glassix 2, possibly add more furniture to existing locations if times permit, and after that, I'm not too sure, which is why I'm going to release a poll to let you decide what I should do, either keep working on Glassix 2 or switch to a smaller scale project so you get some with proper gameplay faster.

Glassix 1.0.4 quick fix

Hey guys,

Just a small fix for the debug message which keeps popping after class. I though I had fixed it in last patch but messed up so here is the actual fix attached to this post. Considering the small fix I didn't make it a new patch version so game stays at 1.0.4.

Full versions of the game have already been updated with the fix. Android users will have to download the full APK again though.

So I'm late again but it's finally here!

To organize things a bit better and keep it in line with my other games, I've split the post in three different posts. The introduction one to see all the features and preview of the game, the download links post and then this post to share the news.

Cumshot Simulator will be free for one month as an apology for taking so long to make it then it'll be put behind a paywall so I can sell it on other platforms to get some income and some advertisement, so make sure to download it before that!

This game doesn't have much gameplay and was mainly used so I could figure out lighting, materials, textures and such complex things on a smaller scale as well as a more static project. I wanted to show case what I can achieve in proper conditions and I think the result is really nice. The hair shader might still need some work I think but the skin shader really gives a nice real life visual. Animations are quite boring and low quality though, I'm afraid for this part, finding proper sexy animations online is not easy and creating ones myself ends up with robotic behavior :x It's another whole skill to learn and could be easier to handle with proper expensive tools which I won't bother with I'm afraid, I'm more of a coding guy :x

So what you can expect from this is that most of the visuals should be moved back to Glassix 2 to improve the overall visual quality of the game. The main issue with Glassix 2 is that everything is loaded dynamically making lighting stuff very very complicated compared to a static scene, I'll have more test to do to have proper result. But the new shaders should already improve the result once updated.

Cumshot Simulator is a one shot (pun intended) game and I don't plan to spend more time on it but I will debug it if needed so don't hesitate to report any problems you encounter while playing it. Moreover, the game is available on Mac and Linux, I haven't been able to test those myself so let me know if it's working. I didn't get any reports for Lust Complex Mac and Linux versions so I'll go with "No news is good news".

That's about it regarding Cumshot Simulator. I still have some stuff to talk about regarding my campaign and Glassix 2 and will do so in another post.

Almost there!

Hey guys!

I'm almost done with the first version of Cumshot Simulator but still need a little more time to complete it.

During the two last weeks since my last post, I've added simple teasing custom audio lines from 2 freelance voice actors found on the web. The result is quite nice and could lead to some more kinky stuff in other games. Here are some preview attached below.

This game is really meant as a simple release game. A pretty girl, some teaser line and various sexy pose to play around while showering her in cum. So the room has been designed with 6 spots, each playing a specific animation and audio lines.

The basics are working and the last thing I'll need to do to feel like the game can be released is to make the girl have better expressions. Unfortunately, I don't have access to live motion recordings tools to give the best result so I have to do apply stuff manually, testing the various morphs offered but it's quite a slow process, not to mention a bit annoying since it's not my domain of expertise. Here a short preview of what I mean.

The idea would be to have the girl have various facial expression so that she feels more lively and have some body animation variations too depending on the currently selected spot to make her tease the player. But again, really messy to do without professional tools unfortunately. Still, I'll do my best to deliver something sexy.

Besides this, I'm still having lighting issues like this one:

This is the same issue as in Glassix 2 since the body is not lit properly while the ceiling light should fully light the room. I've been tinkering with the various options to bake lights in Unity but couldn't find a proper solution besides adding lights in the dark area but I'm still trying to figure out if that's really the only way to get the girl properly lit in a realistic way. I know other game might use fake lights to cover this, which I did in Glassix 2 actually but I think there should be a more natural way to handle this. So I'll tweak a bit more and if I can't find a good solution, I'll go with adding more small lights here and there.

I'd also like to furnish the room with more random stuff to make it more packed since it's a bit empty at the moment.

I guess it'll take a few more days to complete this, I'll try to delay as little as possible.

Hey guys!

I've been a bit too caught up in testing various things for Cumshot Simulator which was supposed to be a simple quick packaging of Glassix 2 features but since the scope of the game was smaller, it gave me more room to test stuff out than planned and I forgot to keep you updated. So what the heck have I been doing the last few weeks?

First, I wanted to make the single girl in the game wear some sexier high heels (at least to my taste) and there were some quirks to figure out with the new ones. Here is a plain preview of the default new high heels with the ones already implemented in Glassix 2.

Both high heels come from Daz 3D assets and this is the default position of each high heels. You can notice each creator went a different way to handle this which is normally adjusted by Daz in their own software but not done when exporting to Unity meaning I had to adjust that myself. The first one is already adjusted to the foot and it was a simple matter of rotating the ankle to get a good result. For the second one, it was trickier since I had to rotate the shoes and toes first to adjust the shoes to the feet position then rotate the ankles like the first one. It took me some time to get it right but it's working fine now plus with the accumulated XP I got from working with Unity so far (yeah, I'm leveling up lol), this script is handled in a better, standalone way making it much easier to use it with other high heels in the future.

Another test I've wasted some time on was to add skirt physics since Cumshot Simulator would be a smaller scene requiring less resources, I could use those for extra physics. The result is quite nice but it would still need more work to add colliders to prevent clipping through the skin of the character which would require more time. Since I was a bit pushed by time, I stopped my tests here. However, this feature should be usable on hair too which could improve the overall quality of the game. After that, I've also looked into the updated built-in shaders of Unity new version since I had to update it for v0.18 and the results are indeed better though it forced me to repack a lot of texture to get it to work properly. But since these are built-in shaders rather than ones I've created with my poor knowledge, it should improve quality and performance.

Besides this, I've also tried to make the UI more user friendly, like linking colors together when needed. I'll have to reproduce this QoL in Glassix 2 too. And I've also added some basic makeup and lipstick options.

The UI here is simplified and I won't offer more clothing models, only various textures which is another time sink since I had to process lots of new PBR textures, specifically aimed at video games, which helped me better understand how all this works and improve visuals which I'll need to push back to Glassix 2. Here are some preview of the new textures.

Other than that, I've also spent a little time to figure out more graphic options in Unity to offer more options to players and specifically low end set ups since Glassix 2 is quite demanding on this aspect.

 

With these options, I've been testing performances, GPU usage more specifically, trying to figure out how to make the game less demanding and to my surprise, it's not as bad as I thought. Roughly checking the GPU memory usage in Windows, Cumshot Simulator seems to currently be using about ~3.5Go on High settings, ~2.5Go on Medium settings and ~2Go on Low settings which is much lower than I thought, thanks to Unity compressing images properly. Which is another optimization I'll have to figure out in Glassix 2, since textures are not compressed by Unity and I'll have to figure out how to do it myself when importing textures dynamically to reduce GPU usage. As for the resolution, it didn't seem to have much of an impact on the GPU, I'll have to test more with Glassix 2. The exclusive fullscreen mode might also help low end spec since it'll tell CU and GPU to focus on the game instead of sharing resources from what I understood. This might need confirmation from players in the future.

All this testing and fiddling took more time than expected and I've still not worked on proper animations and facial reactions on the character yet. I did find some adult voice actress for the game and I'll need to prepare some sexy teasing voice lines for the game though I'm not that inspired. I'd like to add some basic or well known animation, some you can guess from the video, like using the pillory or the girl being stuck in the washing machine ("Help me step-brother!") which I'll be able to reuse in Glassix 2.

All in all, the goal would be to finish all this by the end of the month but since I tend to underestimate deadlines lately, I'd advise you to cancel your pledge this month since I've really been slow lately and come back once I have fleshed out content much more. I also have some other ideas I'll share with you soon. And again, don't hesitate to ask for a refund in case you are displeased by my decisions, I'm only trying to improve myself and the games I'm creating which unfortunately takes a lot of time since I'm learning everything by myself.

Hey guys,

A small heads up there won't be a Glassix 2 version at the end of this month and v0.19 will be released at the end of next month instead.

With the release of the cum shot feature and the update of Unity version, I thought it could be a good opportunity to take a step back from Glassix 2 and work on a smaller scale side project to figure some stuff out and improve Glassix 2 quality after that.

This small side project, which would be titled "Cumshot simulator", would be what you can guess from the name, a really basic game where the only point is to shoot cum on the girl. A single room, a single girl, a single feature, all assets already exist and are taken from Glassix 2 so it would only be a simple repackage which would also allow me test out some new stuff released in the latest Unity version.

For example, I received several critics about the characters being too ugly and one of the reason is the shader and materials of the skin which could use some work. The new Unity version released some new options in this matter and I've wanted to test them in a side project with static content so it's easier to set up and test.

Here is a quick preview of my initial test on the skin shader, material and textures to improve the final result.

You can see on this preview how the light reflects much better on the skin than before, make it look less plastic, which should increase the quality of the characters in Glassix 2, with no performance cost from my quick tests.

The new Unity version also offers a new hair shader which I've tested quickly and should also improve the quality of the character's hair, here is another preview.

You might also have noticed different but better textures for the room itself between the walls and the ceiling. I found some new textures assets with better quality which I'll move to Glassix 2 too and update existing locations asap.

Besides this graphical update, another purpose of this side project is to test facial emotions and have this girl talk and react to player cum showers which would in turn be pushed back into Glassix 2 to make NPCs more lively since they are quite static at the moment in Glassix 2.

Finally, I'm also looking into an adult voice actress to voice over a few sexy lines for this side project, no orgasm shout though, purely some sexy voice lines to put some mood and test the voice to lip sync feature the current asset I'm using in Glassix 2 and see if it'll work well, as well as get some initial contact with the VA world for potential application in Glassix 2.

Overall, I expect 1 or 2 weeks of work top for this side project and would release it commercially on the usual platforms even if the target market will be quite small, but this dynamic cum feature might still be fun to a few players and would allow me to get a few more funds. Of course, this side project would be included in my campaign rewards.

I'm aware all my decisions lately have been quite one sided and a bit off track from the initial plan but these are mainly to make Glassix 2 even better by allowing me to finalize stuff on a smaller and concrete project. If you feel cheated by my decision, feel free to contact me to get a refund with my apologies.

It took me a bit more time than expected but here is the new cum feature, currently only focused on the Cum out part, so we're still missing the Cum in part as well as female orgasm, but this new feature is something I never saw in other H game and it's quite dynamic so I think it was worth the time to add.

There are still some quirks like said in my previous post like the effect only affecting only one girl at a time and not affecting clothes but those are all things which can be fixed with more time. Performances wise, this feature should be low cost and should work without too much issue on lower end spec from what I read about this Unity feature but I'll wait for feedback to confirm.

This cum feature uses the default camera feature to rotate around the character. You can either use the Q key to shoot or left click when camera control is off in cum mode. I have not restricted the Lock button currently so you can test this feature but in the long run, I'd like to lock it behind a spell as well as making arousal increase speed controlled by spell too.

To complete this cum feature, I'll have to add female orgasm and cum in option but this should be faster than the cum out option.

Other than that, I've also added the Wait button directly inside locations since it was quite a requested addition and I've also added simple colliders in characters' torsos so it's easier and more logical to click on them.

Glassix 2 v0.18 cumming soon !

I apologize for the lack of news this last month. If you didn't read the campaign main page, you might not know I'm french but am married with a chinese girl. We live in China and we have two young kids, 8 and 2. Being french and christian, it means spending Christmas back in France with my family and being married with a chinese girl also means spending Chinese New Year back in my wife hometown which happened at the end of January. For Christmas, my wife got a nice gift: covid with loss of taste and lack of strength for a week, which she then gave me and then to the kids, so the early weeks of January were quite sickly... And now back from Chinese New Year, the kid got back with another stuff, the youngest vomiting 6 times in a day which he then gave to his older brother when we arrived which again, kept us busy... I hope it'll be over soon cause I'm tired of getting sick... While I'm at it, I didn't get the chance to wish you all a happy new year so here it is lol, better late than never like they say!

Anyway, enough about my life and let's share some insights about the new feature in Glassix 2: the cumming feature.

From our last poll result, I should have added some more sex scenes and worked on the Newbit scenario but while I was about to work on the sex animations, I noticed there was no cum feature at all in Glassix 2 which is a huge shame for a porn game so I took the decision to delay the original plan and work on this first. The results are quite nice I have to say but it's still quirky. You can check the video for some preview. And sorry for the poor english accent and weird pronunciation ("UI", not "UE" of course lol Blame my french heritage :D).

With this feature, cum splashes will leave stains wherever they land on the character which is more interesting than in other games where the cum texture is usually limited to a predefined position. There are some limitations at the moment: First, it only works properly when the camera sees the cum/skin collision due to the way the game tries to detect collision with less calculations to not impact performances too much. The easy solution at the moment is to force first person cumshot but in future orgies where other NPCs will cum, it might be trickier to solve, I'll see then. The second point is that it only collides with the character's skin at the moment. It's possible to collide with clothing but would be more performance costly so I'll have to do more test to see. The third point is that the cum stains currently can't stay on the girl when moving between locations, I have some ideas on how to fix this issue but it'll take time to test out. I know you guys will want to see your waifus covered in semen moving around town like it's totally normal lol. Fourth, this method can't be used for internal cumshot due to point 1 and I'll have to use another method for this, I guess I'll go with a 3D cum object this time which will leak from the holes for better effect, but again, more time needed since it's a totally different way to handle, it'll come in another version.

The upside of the way I developed this cum feature is that it saves me the hassle and time of creating specific cum textures for the skin or clothing in the future plus this result is much better this way I think.

The huge downside from this like I said in the video is that I had to update Unity to the latest beta version to have access to this new particle and collision detection feature which is not that stable and changed a lot of things. It broke several working things in the current version, like lighting not working like before due to new options not properly being converted or initialized (which was already not working very well indoors before but it's worse now) and it'll take a few days to fix all this mess I guess.

I hope to release this new version before the end of this week!

I'll have to apologize for this short changelog. Between family vacation and getting covid during Christmas, I didn't have much time for the game this month and I'm spending most of my days in bed lately feeling sick and dizzy :/

Anyway, this version adds the Wardrobe manager for Businesses which is quite similar to the default Citizen Wardrobe except it only affects the work outfit. This time, you can design both the male and female since the gender of a job is variable. If none is set, it'll use a default one of course.

The button to access the job wardrobe is accessible directly from the business panel after selecting a job, in the right panel. This button is only visible if your current job gives you access to wardrobe management which is a new action visible in the list of actions of each job. Currently, only the Dean and the Head professor have access to this button so you won't have access to it in Scenario mode. Moreover, each job has different wardrobe permission. The dean can set any outfit in the business while the head professor can only change the outfits of professors and students.

Glassix 2 v0.16 released

Changelog

  • Added citizen wardrobe with four activities: At home, casual, work and sleep

  • Added missing loading panel when game boots

  • Added missing spell icons in Spells panel

This version focus on the citizen wardrobe feature as voted by (6) patrons in the previous poll and you'll now be able to customize the citizens' outfits based on their activity, similar to Glassix 1. Unlike in Glassix 1, outfits parts can be fully customized so the code was a bit more complex... I've tried to make it as clear as possible by adding tooltips which give explanations of how audacity of citizen and outfits are calculated, it's pretty straight forward addition of each outfit part own audacity plus some offsets depending on a few additional things such as whether the breasts is visible or what activity is done. You can also customize the men's outfit too and the formula is mostly the same except a few things, like not caring if the chest is exposed. The formula is not complete yet and I will modify it a bit in the future but overall it should work like this.

The wardrobe can be accessed directly by using the new Wardrobe icon located in the top right menu of a citizen info page.

The process is fairly straight forward: Select the activity then select the outfit. You can create your own outfits, save them and assign them easily. To make it more logical in the future, some piece of outfits might be more suited for certain activities, for example, pajamas would be to sleep, not really to work... which would mean adding some audacity penalty if you're using pajamas on activities other than sleeping, I'll fine tune the formula better in future versions.

I also wanted to add the business wardrobe feature to give the ability to customize working uniform but the citizen wardrobe took more time than planned and I couldn't finish it so that'll be for v0.17, which will also add new sex animations and possibly story content, but with Christmas on the way, I might have even less time to work on this :x

Anyway, this feature should be a nice addition to the game and let you create some sexy outfits for your waifus ♥ I guess I'll add some new poll options to add more piece of clothes too in the future so we can create even sexier outfits.

With an impressive number of 6 voting patrons (lol), you guys voted for Newbit story, new sex animations and wardrobe management!

Since it's a tie of 3 choices, I'll just select the one I prefer and will go with Wardrobe management first (more code oriented which is more interesting for me) with new sex animations if time allows it.

Regarding wardrobe management, the aim will be similar to what we had in Glassix 1 with the difference this time being that you'll be able to select each piece of cloth individually and assign them to different periods of time (casual, at home, work, date, etc...) and since jobs is now more open, it'll also give new action for business owner or jobs which allow business outfit customization to create their own outfits for each branch or job in their business. If you've played Lab Rats 2 before, you should be familiar.

And same as Glassix, outfits will have an audacity requirement depending on its pieces, audacity increasing with obedience level, spells and in the future, I'd also like to add NPCs traits which would also impact several aspects of the game calculations, including audacity.

Technically, the wardrobe management is somewhat done with the Appearance and Biography editors since you can already change NPCs outfits there, but in this case, I'll add the audacity and period selector too. I'd also like to make it more visually appealing as opposed to the current blunt options lists.

Glassix 2 v0.15 content poll

Those last few months, I've somewhat been doing whatever I felt was most urgent for Glassix 2, the Event Editor and the waypoint navigation feature, which were both intended to be used to focus on more story content once implemented.

However after last month work, with the waypoint navigation, I quite enjoyed implemented those new interactions. It felt Glassix 2 went closer to Glassix 1 gameplay being able to move between locations directly and I thought adding even more of that could be nice. I've also got some feedback to improve immersion and will look into it.

The plan for next version content was the Newbit scenario but I realized it's been a while since I last took your input into account and see what you'd think would be best to focus on next. So I've put up together several focus targets so you guys can decide which one to work on first instead.

Here are the choices I could think of, similar to previous poll from March with some differences:

  • Newbit storyline: The original plan, focusing on the story of the New bit scenario.

  • Shower events: Add proper events when player enter a bathroom while NPCs are taking shower. Depending on affection and obedience, reactions would be different. Including shower sex similar to what we have in Glassix 1.

  • Toilets events: Same as shower events but for toilets

  • Sleep events: Same as shower events but for sleep. A bit more complexity here if the spouse is sleeping in the same room.

  • New sex animations: More sex positions, using furniture in the room too.

  • Furniture interactions: This would add new interactions with the furniture, to sit, lie down, take a piss and other stuff furniture offers. Similarly, some small new stuff such as lighting being toggled from 3D switches rather than UI to improve immersion.

  • Wardrobe management: Another one from Glassix 1. Currently NPCs and player have predefined sets of clothes. This would add a new interface to customize outfits based on activity.

  • Street navigation: Currently, the navigation system sends back to city map when outside of a building. I'd like to add streets in between so the city can be fully navigated through waypoints, similar to Glassix 1. Streets being different from defined location, this would use generic street models with waypoints to enter nearby infrastructure or moving to adjacent streets. Unlike other locations which should scale to real life units, those streets would be generic and not match actual sizes. Not sure how I'll handle the infrastructure around the street yet, either generic models again or might use the city map low poly models. Testing will be required to choose best approach.
