Edit: Edited to add that we're still working on the cow bug-related update, but everyone got a bit sidetracked with their own projects, and I myself am struggling to fix the name bug in the friendship panel. I can't figure out why it's glitching as SimFirstName, but hopefully I'll figure it out soon, lol.
I'm also going to post another preview soon of the broom, I almost have it ready for in-game testing! So far I've been working on exporting everything from Blender and putting the basics together.

Hi everyone! Hope you've been doing well. Just wanted to stop by and post some updates on what I've been working on. π
I'm sure most of you can guess what the above gif is, but if not, it's an animation for a functional broom! I, along with others, were upset EA didn't include a broom in the Bust the Dust kit, so I wanted to start this project once everything I needed was updated (which were updated the same day, talk about good luck!). Before the kits were announced I was planning my own dust system with Pancake anyhow, so I'm really glad EA made this pack, even if it is buggy as heck. Either way it gives me a reason to convert this broom set from TSM!
It will, of course, require the kit to be functional, but I can always make a side version that sweeps up the piles of dirt if people want it. I do have a feather duster planned with Pancake to replace the hand vacuum, but we're not sure when we'll be doing that one so for now it's just my broom being released. I also have a mop replacement/addon that's a bucket and sponge that I plan on doing, but I don't know when. I'm trying to decide if I work on it and release it with the broom, or as a separate project at a later date. Let me know if you have a preference!
Also here's a pic I took when trying to start the conversion process with my updated tools. π I eventually fixed it but it spooked me for a minute there!

Anyhow, I've also been making decent progress on my restarted Arranged Marriages files. I not only restarted them but changed how I was doing it too (after a week of research). Back when I first started this mod I was making a mess of things and the plan I had would not work with the little knowledge I had. Now that I know sooo much more, I know exactly what to do and how to do it, and it's turning out better than I thought it could. Anyhow, I still want to add a few more features before releasing version 1, but this version should be ready for you guys sometime soon, and by soon sometime next month, maybe, more or less? Can't give an exact date because that never works out, lol.
In this pic the text is actually placeholders (leftovers from when I first started), I have to switch things around and it will actually be asking something different, along the lines of which person you should arrange for.

Anyhow, I also would like some feedback on the dowry if you guys don't mind!
How do you want the dowry handled?
And are there any other details I should consider when putting the dowry together, like what do you want it to look like? Do you want to choose a random gift from a list (so like a picker for objects), gifts only from your inventory (and maybe household inventory, don't remember seeing a setting though), or something else? And money is on the list, which will probably just be a separate interaction, though do you want money AND objects as an option, or choose only one? Oh, and I think this a cool idea, but maybe NPCs can demand a specific dowry item?
