Hornet - Hollow Knight

Before I started making the comic series like Krystal, Maid Marian, or the others, I was planning to create one about Hornet. I happened to see some coworkers do stuff about her, and I thought, "Damn, she's cool!"

She was originally supposed to take Maid Marian's place, as I didn't believe Marian was popular enough to gain support. However, it turned out to be the 50th anniversary of the movie, so it was a "now or never" situation, and ultimately, Marian was chosen. Turns out she actually did good at my surprise!

I then thought the Hornet story could happen later and even found an artist for it. But two things made me reconsider the idea:

Based on fan art stats, she doesn't seem that popular.
Excluding the DLC, all the interesting characters are her siblings… if you know what I mean.

Personally, I don’t mind the second point, as if you really dig into the lore of the game, while they share the same father, they have little else in common. Like, they're really fundamentally different (and I insist on "fundamentally". If you know, you know).
Plus, I do like the wholesome 6-pages story I have between her and The Hollow Knight.

But even so, I'm unsure if she'd be popular enough to get support. What’s your opinion about a comic related to The Princess Knight?
