This week I've begun work on the new asset pack; Paths, Roads, and Waterways. So far I've done one A3 sheet with some dirt paths, gravel paths and some areas of cobblestone. I've also done a test image with some assets from one of my half timber buildings packs and some of the black and white paths.

I had quite a hard time working out how to do the modular paths. These ones are designed so that you can make good looking paths by rotating the paths and layering the ends over each other for a decent result. Using a little bit of erasing and the clone brush tool will significantly improve the final look. I am also thinking of doing a video tutorial to show how to get the best results when using my textures and paths. I've found it very tricky to make the textures look good while also being easy to use and versatile but I think this pack strikes the best balance of any I've done so far.

2024-05-04 06:10:51 +0000 UTCI like the progress, and also that you're doing it modular. Just an advice as someone who did modular 3D HEX files before, keep in mind that the extremes must fit to each other! Otherwise some pieces cannot be connected with the rest.
