Hi everyone! This month's animation and painting theme could go by many names - Junker June, Gadget Girls, Wrench Wench, etc, basically characters with a thing for engineering, inventing, repairing, you name it. At first this might seem pretty niche - I was a bit hesitant myself to go with this theme. But after looking around, there's a lot more than I thought! Hopefully it will be fun because it's one we've never done before.

This month will be the first one in years since we've been able to do nominations without google forms and I couldn't be happier! For those who always wondered why, it was because back when I first started my Patreon, it had an anti-spam feature that would hit false positives on comments and delete them. I had no way of recovering or reviewing them myself, and the weirdest thing is that it was used on private posts where a potential bot or spam account wouldn't be able to post a comment anyway. So why did it exist? I don't know. But the important thing is that it is gone now, so I don't have to worry about that.

Also, thank you to those who filled out the survey. Your suggestions, responses and comments are all very helpful to me. Some of them are ideas i've thought of for a long time, others I hadn't considered before. I can't guarantee i'll be able to do everything there, but I appreciate all of them. However, one of them I will be starting this month, and that is a "freebie" stream where I will be live on stream drawing/animating personal projects, or just shooting the shit and having a good time with you all. The first one will be on Saturday, and i'm excited to try it. I think I'll be spending most of that day working on the Eri mini-comic, our poor neglected 1980's office lady who I should have finished a long time ago!
