Author Update

Not a chapter!

I hate to say it, but I wanted to put that up front since I was hoping to get one out today. So, I almost have everything where I want it for the beginning of Underworld Book 4. That means Monday-ish. The good news is, once I have this first one down, the rest should start falling like undead dominoes.

One thing this week that has made it hard is the lack of sleep I got at DragonCon. Even though it didn't affect me while I was there, I haven't  gone a day this week without a big nap in the middle of the day. It was almost like having a newborn in the house again except this time I'm actually getting to catch up with sleep.

There are two big focuses for chapter one. Rehashing where we've been and introducing/teasing the arc for book 4, without giving anything away.

World Quest Release

I've learned, as have a number of other authors, not to publish in September. With the holiday weekend, MSE selling his books on Kickstarter, and school starting again, its just a terrible time. It's only been a week, but this has been my worse release since my first one. The reviews are great, please leave one if you haven't gotten the chance, but sells are half of what they normally are. That could very likely pick up, but it's a bummer so far, especially with it being received so well. 

It's hard to be unthankful even if things are going as well as I'd like. The fact that anyone is willing to support my writing in the first place is still amazing to me. Thank you guys!

Help For New Writer Videos

After I get on a roll with the new chapters, I'm going to finally start to put together some of the writing advice videos for YouTube like I've been mentioning sporadically here and there. The more I publish, the more of the same questions I get asked. Might as well put it all in one place so I can point people in that direction.

That's all for now. I going to try to put together more meme's with questions tied to them like the last Underworld vs Codename one. It seemed like everyone like it and we can tie it into what is going on in Underworld book 4 once it's well underway.
