Happy New Year 2025~

Hello Starlights and Happy New Year! ✨✨

2024 was a year full of so much change, both in the world of Novae, and in our lives. In the story, we went from the 1600s to the 1970s, Paris to California, said goodbye to some characters and met more in a new era. But much of the old mysteries remain, and though some characters have changed, new haircuts and all, the chemistry is there, brewing with an exciting new concoction of personalities and yearning

Having reached the end of Chapter 16, this year is already starting off with a bang. The next chapter is going to be all about the feels, and learning about how Raz and Sulvain have been leading their lives. But that’s only the beginning. We’re excited to show you all how the characters will navigate this new era, new mysteries and each other.

In our own lives, we have moved to a new city and for the first time since college, have our own place. It’s been an exciting time, I finally got my drivers license and we have been exploring the town. This has been a year of diving into interior decorating and discovering our own personal styles. We have been having a blast at the local thrift stores and bountiful flee markets!

There has also been sadness for us this year. In July, we had to say goodbye to our 19 year old Kitty Woo Woo. We both had such a strong bond with her and it just tore us to shreds when she left us. She had a wonderful life full of so much love but it was still so hard, is still hard. She was precious family and we still miss her so much.

Though we could never fill the little Woo Woo shaped hole in our hearts, we have welcomed new joy into our lives, and their names are Milo (Meelo) and Persimmon. These little kitties are mother and son and are filled with so much energy and kittynality. It’s been a long time since I had young cats, I didn’t remember how active they are! We’ve been training them and they already know sit, boop and paw. We love them. 🥺💗

Milo looks a lot like Woo Woo, and I wasn't expecting to get another tuxie, but when we saw him being held up by a little girl at the adoption event, and I carried his mom in my arms, we fell for them instantly.

Now that Chapter 16 has concluded for patrons, we will be catching up on some Patreon goodies while we prepare the next installment. These next couple weeks we will be:

-updating more of the “Pinned” spicy side comic

-finally sending out the next batch of goodies for constellation patrons!(Thank you so much for your patience while we were getting settled into our new place!)

-and posting the cover for chapter 17!

With a whole fresh year ahead of us we want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for being our readers and patrons. When we read your comments, we can literally feel our mental hp being replenished. Your enthusiasm really gives us the fuel to keep going, and with a feeling of happiness. And it’s not only that, because of all of you, we were able to move out, able to adopt our new furry companions, take them to the vet, give them toys and good food. The reason we could make all these positive changes in our lives, is because of you all. Our hearts are absolutely filled to the brim with gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

With that, we hope you all have a good year and we hope there are positive changes in your lives that will make your hearts feel full too.
