I wonder if the kitty species, Morgana, and other not-quite-humans go to the field after death as well (the fantastical worlds Sulvain fell through look kind of alien!)

Alys, I think you are onto something with Vivi in the field or, at least, having access to the River Lethe's waters. Perhaps she and Sesam were able to dip into it (the Fountain of Youth??) and obtain immortality? Or maybe not immortality permanently, but perhaps elongating their life? Or is there something that holds essencia for perpetual youth?? 😱🤔 So many thoughts are buzzing around my head.

Though there may be no accounting for crossover. Adeline did her thang with rocks & you could also make the case that powders or mineral poisons could be more elemental than enchantment? But I think the sigils that have appeared when she casts look similar to Vivi’s process.

Also can I ask are you maybe planning to release more pdf versions of the chapters? I love reading the story again when I'm travelling but I can only read it offline, and I always have to stop at the 12th chapter 😭
