I didn't have a chance to watch this one until now. I had "acquired" the full cut of the movie and after immediately realizing I'd be all out of sync with you guys, I bought the Prime version (cancelled my Prime membership after the dumb with-ads thing). I skimmed through the original version and they cut a solid 8 minutes in the American edit! Mostly due to violence, shooting people and stuff. The worst thing though is that they caused a big hole in the story, cutting an entire scene of Jackie's cop friend visiting the two white ladies (reporter and gang lady) in the hospital, closing out their involvement in the whole mess. I guess they didn't want to show bruised up women in the American cut, but taking out that scene made it look like the movie just forgot about them.

Apparently this was his first one written and shot in English, unlike Rumble in the Bronx where everyone is speaking whatever language they speak and everything is dubbed after.

Also watching a Jackie Chan movie for the plot is like watching porn for the plot lol. Man alive jackie impresses me so much with his stunts and bravery every time. I thought there was no way the saw stunts were real but the bloopers proved them. Insane
