Added 2020-10-18 06:28:45 +0000 UTCI'm sure a lot of people went in on this pack looking for an Ebon Jaguar or Huntsman. Personally I'm all about that Turkina. My first sight of the machine was in Mech Commander Desperate Measures, a rendition that was quite appealing. The tabletop mini? Not so much.
I definitely leaned heavy on the MC look for that redesign.
Who came for the Crossbow and Kingfisher though?
Overall a pretty deadly set of mechs.

2020-10-18 20:29:47 +0000 UTCWow. The Ebon Jaguar has always appealed to me in a general sense, but every rendition of it seemed to have massive problems. (Including the MWO version with its stick arms) This one completely knocks it out of the park. I didn't have high hopes for the Turkina, because it always felt more like a silly design, rather than anything about the art itself. However, this edition surprised me with how good it looks. It still has all the distinctive elements from before, but manages to make them look intimidating instead of goofy. Definitely made me glad I picked up a pack of these.

2020-10-18 17:27:30 +0000 UTCI'd agree that the pick of the star is the Turkey, and it needed the redesign, but I remain a Kingfisher fan. I think the redesign helps to give it a little shape and definition compared to the original, which was a bit of a box with feet. Good stuff. If I am honest on the Crossbow, it's not a 'mech I have given much thought to over the years, but I think the redesign might be a little bulkier than I would have chosen.
