A Second Hectic Week

I'll probably only get up one chapter of each story this week. Several things are going on, but nothing is majorly wrong. I spent an entire week editing Tunnel Rat 4 and tossing it to Aethon. We are working on that book, with Butcher 2 coming soon, and then I ned to get Butcher 3 ready.

That's not the major time sink, though. I should have a new grandchild soon. We've been helping my daughter get ready for her second, and her due date is here. If she doesn't go into labor by next Sunday, they'll induce labor. My wife is camping out at their house, helping with baby Alice, who is three, so her parents can get some rest.

I'm keeping things running at the house, taking care of a very lonely dog, and making sure my youngest daughter gets off to beauty school each day. She's taking a non-stop 16-month course. Her twin is in college down in Baltimore, starting her second year of Dance Choreography. My wife will be visiting her while she babysits Alice, a bonus.

Last Week was construction at my main store. You can buy store fixtures cheap, or assembled and ready to go, but not both. We went with cheap and my arms ached after got them put together and moved around. Running your own business has a lot of choices like that.

In other news, I'm committing to doing a new story. Expect that to hit Royal Road on Dec. 6th.
I'm slowly working on chapters, and keeping to a firm committment to not work on the new novel until I get chapters done for the other two, and the editing done. I've outlined the first 20 chapters and will begin writing for that one once the baby is here and things are less hectic. The working title is 'Brimstone Apocalypse', more on it later
