When I can't write, I plot. When I can't plot, I edit. Butcher vol. 1 is done and heading to Aethon Books for publication. September? Not sure. The story is mostly the same, but rewriting and editing gave me a chance to pull out some things that didn't work, move things around, and overall make the story better. It was nice to work through the story again and make it better.

From here it goes to an Editor at Aethon who will fix any grammar or spelling errors and polish things up. Then a new cover, and off to Amazon Kindle and KU.

The biggest change from this version to the last is that the characters move to Tier 2 sooner, at a point that makes more sense. This is at the very end of the volume, just before the first day of the war when Billy is in a shitty spot, and no one is paying attention to the workers.

I've uploaded both a Word Document, and a PDF of the story if you'd like to reread the story. These match what is currently on Royal Road.
