Elliot you keep mentioning that Villarreal is poor team, come on mate they gave us a pasting. With all your vitriol for Unai he did get the better of Arteta your golden guy. You know what this attitude of we being a good team and with a great coach is still not proven. How can you guys criticize Kreoneke when you guys don't wnat to recognize the fact that we are a shot team. The coach is accentuating this further on the world stage mate. You know what this shit Unais Villarreal will throw us out. One thing in sport is never underestimate your rivals , respect them but play to your strength and have confidence in your abilities. As a coach Arteta job is to make the team more than the sum.of parts which he is failing terribly. You know what congrats he is going to stay cause honestly there isn't anyone out there. Nagelsman is gone to Munich, Tuchel is taken over at Chelsea , spurs will get someone better next and then we will be left with Arteta as there is no one there. He has to get away from aping pep and this is getting far beyond belief to ape someone at this level. It's beyond belief and it's embarrassing.

Tbf, Coquelin came on and created a huge chance for Moreno to finish the tie

Another point on the first half was the palpable lack of any sort of press from the front. Multiple periods of play where we just let them play the ball around the back. When we did press it was individually and for most of the first half there was no press at all. Start of the second half this changed but it makes me wonder if this was a tactical decision from Arteta or players weren’t executing.
