I love the story, characters, writing, dialogue, action, animation, music, etc... everything about the show just gets me unreservedly and emotionally invested every time.

2025-06-11 19:13:53 +0000 UTCTo Carter about UBW and other shows: Fate Stay Night was a game originally with 3 routes. "Fate" "Unlimited Blade Works" and "Heaven's Feel". Those are all about the grail war after fate zero. You can think of each "route" as alternate timelines. You guys essentially watched the prequel to the "main" series. So yes fate zero is linked with all 3 routes and basically leads into the events of all 3. The reason nobody talks about the fate adapation is because it was such a disaster no fate fan can recommend it, but it actually makes the most sense to watch first. That said, since you guys already have watched zero I think it's best to just go into UBW then HF. Quite personally I felt UBW has the highest highs for me. I loved zero but I liked UBW and HF even more than zero. Enjoy!
