Or not making a decision when he should be. That's why in the next episode, when he comes back with all the Woodberrians, she ain't there anymore. She was the one always trying to hold on to their humanity if you recall. Sometimes it was like "Lori shut up. It's the ZPoc." But all she really wanted was for her family to hold on to who they were and do the right thing. So him looking up and seeing her watching him as he's collecting wire to give up Michonne told him he was doing the wrong thing. Damn it I'm defending Lori again 😫 At least I'm not defending Andrea.

Once Michonne showed him that his way wasn't good enough and that Daryl had outgrown him, he went on a suicide mission to try to clear the way for his brother. Family loyalty speaks volumes about the man he could have been if his redemption arc had been given more time.
