Boy, what an episode! This one's a great example of why I'm having so much fun revisiting these episodes at the monthly Cinemare Sins pace. It's been a blast hanging out on Twitch and watching these with some of you.

One of the few Friendship is Magic episodes which is about a little more than "friendship." Honestly, I think I like this one more upon revisiting, although I will never stop cringing at that one scene.

I'm not a big fan of Flurry Heart, but this episode actually ended up being better than I remembered. Obvious sins aside, Twily is a fun pone.
The red arrows are a silly joke which might make more sense once you see the video. Actually, they will probably be nonsensical either way.

This is kind of a strange episode considering it forgoes the whole two-part premiere thing and the story is a lot more abstract than most other episodes. I recall being disappointed by the lack of a satisfying ending when this episode first aired, but upon revisiting I have come to appreciate this episode for the more nuanced look into the lives of the characters involved.

I've always had mixed feelings about this two-parter. The premise is awesome, I love changelings, and it's a fun adventure story, but it also feels like this is the point of the show where things start to get really bloated and crowded in terms of how many different characters and different sub-plots are crammed into an episode. A classic Friendship Problem adventure and a new fan-favorite pony? It doesn't get much better than that! These kinds of episodes are peak FIM in my opinion. That doesn't mean it gets away with not being Sinned though!

Sorry this one's a little bit later for patrons than usual. My schedule was thrown off by a surprise jury duty summons. I guess I got to hear the alternate sides to a story of my own, although watching ponies disagree on a boating adventure is a lot more fun than listening to someone who broke their spine and sued for pain and suffering. Ain't ponies so much nicer than reality?

Another fun episode with another fun new character. Maybe Gabby is a little too perfect though? She's apparently the only griffon who likes to help others and be friendly. Too bad we never had a chance to explore her backstory or learn how she came to be so perfect. Oh well.

Wow, this ended up being a lengthy one! That wasn't the plan, but as I was writing sins and seeing so many good ones suggested via the form, I decided to make it as long as needed to fit them all in. I still did my best to keep it fast-paced with my usual editing style of course.

This is such a fun premise for an episode; it's a shame the Mane 6 ponies got such bad treatment.
Stay tuned, the Cinemare Sins video for G5's movie is on the way! Now that this episode sins video is done I'm going to devote more attention to editing G5. The goal is to publish it as soon as it's done. I'm not sure exactly when that'll be, but hopefully it's in just a few more days!

While revisiting this one I've come to enjoy it a lot more than I remember. Zephyr has an unlikable personality of course, but everything else about the episode is still top-tier as usual.

I don't mind a slow character-based episode...but when it's slow AND the characters are suddenly not very bright in order to progress the story I consider that the ultimate sin. Still, it's fun to revisit either way!

New Cinemare Sins! This is one of my favorite slice-of-life episodes; possibly #1 favorite. I love the non-linear editing, various character interactions, pacing, humor, etc.
