A TrashTikko Moment

Allow me a moment to explain...
TrashTikko is an AMAZING Zootopia artist, that I've been smitten with for a few years now. I can't recommend you go follow their works more strongly if you like to see Judy and Nick (AND Owen) rolling around. I aspire to get half of his expressions into my own art, and am constantly looking to it for things I can improve on.
Welp, they're also a fan of my story and have drawn a bunch of fan art over the years! I've attached the amazing drawings up with their permission, for you to check out. The most recent one, a Christmas-themed picture of Owen and Judy.
I can't express to you all how wonderful it is to see my characters drawn, and gosh, with my heart-full and starting my latest page this past week, I decided - Tikko deserves a drawing. A real rarity for me! I don't usually get so distracted away from the core comic.
So I drew a Tikko (WAY too thick to begin with - I likes what I likes), refined them a bit, and then... I just kept going. Im not sure why I went so hard on this. But I was having fun, and kept thinking, oo I should draw Nick and Judy in the scene, oo I should make the world feel real, oo let's add this and that... I sort of let myself get taken away and spent the whole frigging weekend developing the scene.
I feel mildly guilty for getting distracted, especially when I turn down commissions so often. But also... I sort of felt like I'd deserved a weekend to draw a friend's OC, and just... let myself get carried away, as a form of... I don't know, good mental health practice I suppose.
I'm back on the comic page this week. And I'll probably shade up the Tikko drawing as I finish out this page, but I won't let it distract me much more (if I was being super anal I'd probably reduce the thick-butt some more). But I wanted you to all see my madness. An early/late Christmas present for a fellow zoop-fan artist.

It blows my mind that they take commissions for that quality of art for around $50 - I think that's crazy sauce. And gosh haha, Jacky, I can't take that many compliments!!! Said said: You're comics are some of the most expressing pieces of art I know. Your style fits the whole zootopia trope perfectly. Your shading and color palettes are superb. AND YOUR EXPRESSIONS ARE ALREADY TOP OF THE SHELF GRADE! That said.. I value your opinion on others but there is no reason at all to put yourself short there. I know you know that you are decent (you're more than that), but you two have very very similar levels of emotions and expressions going on in your art by what I saw in a few minutes.
