Here goessssss! Page 6, all hot off the press.
First up, my apologies to Shenandoah, and FilthyDegenerate; I tried to get your icon/questions to fit but it was just too much for the page, so I had to settle on pushing the questions behind others. The icon's I drew are in the zip and you can still make use of them as you see fit =)
Beyond that, gosh I had fun with this one. That first panel is a bit of a trope? Or at least I've seen things like it before, the; holding up a phone in front of the action, trope. But I'm so friggin' happy I got to draw it, and I love the idea that even when they're together, Owen and cuckoldry is still present in some form or fashion.
I doooo think something got a little lost between the roughs and the finals. But I'm not sure what it is... maybe Judy looking a little more blase? Maybe I'm overthinking it?
Next up page 7! I'm hoping to attack it a bunch this week, but family stuff might get in the way I'm not sure. I've also seriously got to sit down and pick a lane for the next chapter - my list of ideas is getting WAY too big, and unstructured...
OH and I'll try and get the single panels done too! I'd nearly forgotten!

So, I wouldn't read it too literally, I'm using very real comment experiences to write something that I think will give Judy and the story real depth. It's not like I'm inundated with these kinds of messages much too much anymore! People understand my brand now and have mostly said their pieces. I think though, that if I was Judy running this blog? This is the sort of stuff that WOULD show up, I'd be tired and exhausted, but... also, kind and giving and ready to explain it one more time. It's real, and human, and that's the aim of this story, and the QnA. PLUS it's a good device for Jusy to utilize, address and reshape. Useful considering I'm walking us into a chastity cage chapter, where she might be a little more dommy to him =D

It's like doing online therapy sessions sometimes XD I literally have had people tell me they find my cuck comics upsetting b/c they themselves have relationship trauma, and I'm like 'and that's my problem because....?' and then they dump their life histories on me lol Considering you have gone out of your way to make sure all your i's are dotted and your t's crossed, it's wild that people are STILL gnashing their teeth about how you depict their relationship. Like, at a certain point, they just do not get it and never will, and you shouldn't have to bend over backwards to reassure what is probably a very vocal minority.

My own for lead-in to the gay stuff would be Nick somehow stepping out of line, not a consent issue or "brattiness", but just disrespecting the alpha in some way, and Owen "pulls rank" and goes "Oh really? Is that so?" Or Nick and Owen accidentally ending ending up alone together for an afternoon and Owen just starts "bullying" him and sees how far he can take it, and Judy just comes in on the end of it. But as everyone knows, ideas are the easy part, and poor Amadose isn't even finished with this intermission comic, we should stop distracting him :D.

I've learned to mostly flow with it in my own stuff though; USUALLY it's not worse, and sometimes it's better! There is definitely a slightly different feel to that first panel, but I don't think it's bad. Definitely a little more energy. The fact that she ended up making eye contact in the final probably has a lot to do with it. Definitely still works though. And man, if that holding-up-the-phone thing is a trope, I'm going to have to...conduct further research.

That gives a chance for Owen to tease Nick a bit, Like saying Judy is much better at this or making Judy "show him how it's done"

Then they take the monorail to Owen's who excitedly lets them in? Here is where it splits off and I start to have 1 million ideas. maybe - they make Nick wait outside for a bit? Judy comes back with a mouthful of come? - or he comes in and has to do show and tell as Judy is all over Owen? ignoring her hubby? - Maybe Judy has to go to the other room and put a butt plug in as Owen sort of gets all up on Nick? Maybe a bj? (or is that too much bi/gay too soon?) I want to have Owen sort of lay the law here and set some rules and expectations for the future to Nick. But I want to scene to feel exciting too. THEN I want to transition to the bedroom, where, I really want to get Nick sandwiched between Owen and Judy as she rides him, and Owen is reaching over and squishing/playing with nicks cage. But getting Nick to ride Owen like that, seems like a HUGE leap? I dunno... I have a lot of horny thoughts... And not that many pages to explore them all...

It's hard to articulate the 'hey stop putting your own insecure shit onto my own secure relationship', but I'm really proud of how it's written so far! The next page was gonna be pretty chill with just the two of them as Judy narrates...

2023-11-20 19:04:44 +0000 UTCRight? It's questions I'd get sent a lot, especially in the early days of the comic, when people would try to challenge me about their relationship. Giving Judy a platform to address that stuff feels really powerful, and also getting to show her worn-out response is another reflection on it all. That, not everyone or every hot-take is deserving of a reply, sort of thing. But this one time she'll give it oxygen. It's good too because in the next chapter, I'll ramp things up - and having this explanation right before it all really helps elevate it, with rehashed and valuable context. Honestly, I'm just happy to give her space to have a voice after so many pages of her being KO'd =D She's awesome.
