Ties That Bind - Page 13 Finished!

Here it isssss! I went a little hard on this one. Redesigning it a few times in the early stages and mayyyybe making too much art (don't worry it'll make for some great individual single-panel illustrations - so nothing is wasted) - BUT I think it's been worth it. I feel like it was an ambitious page, with lots of details and emotions and all sorts. 

It's been fun to see it delelop too - as the hand on the thigh was just a throw-in-there idea I came up with a page or two ago and wasn't ever in the script. I think I threw it in there to help break the whole 'three people sitting side by side' monotony. But it's become a real 'physical moment' and landing point for Owens Monologue. It's sort of organically added itself in, and has made the comic so much more... intense =D

I hope it's been satisfying and fun to see me grow this page out. It feels like such a confident and strong one to me!

Up next; making layouts for the next few pages. For those who know what's coming: I'm thinking of flipping Judy onto her back while we start to end this scene? It might break some of the visuals I had planned for the close-to-the-end of the chapter moments, but I figure that can be somethign for tomorrow-Ama to fix. Having her on her back with Owen ontop - will sort of give us the opportunity to put the action in front of Nick's face, and break the whole 'just sat next to each other for 20 pages routine' that's starting to feel less and less interesting to draw (and probably read!)
