I put in SEVERAL hours into all this Sound effect work ultimately deciding to remove it all and keep the page sparser - it helps the dialogue and moments land more solidly. STILL, I think some of it's fun, and that some of you might get a kick out of seeing some of it!
I've attached the page I went with. The MUCH louder version with Judy making all kinds of sexy noises, followed by a middle-ground version that I almost went with.
I think about visual flow a LOT; where your eye as a comic reader naturally wants to go next. I think it's a really important thing to design around. The worst moments in comics are when your eye is accidentally led to skip a panel or avoid a face, or made to dart back and forth because it doesn't know where to go. Those sorts of moments break the immersion, and heck when you've got a Bull who's delivering his monologue at you - you gotta stay in the moment otherwise it all crumbles apart!
While I loved giving Judy some sexy noises and fun, I decided it was at the detriment of the flow, too much for our eyes to look at, too many places for the eye to go to! And I opted to keep the scene quiter!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend! I'm gonna sit under trees and do NOTHING for the first time in an age. Hopefully, I can remember how to rest ;D

But I had such plans and ideas: 'Just you wait, Judy and Nick will get someone who's THIRSTY to be a bull, someone practiced and considerate - you'll love him when I show you who he isssss.' Hearing people melt for him now, just fills my heart up. He's such a good boy; and deserves all the cuck's he can get ;D

Such a good page
