Ties That Bind - Page 5 WIP (inks, flats, pencils, TEXT version in attachments)
Added 2022-01-29 01:10:29 +0000 UTCSince we are days away from the end of the month I wanted to get you all a progress report and update! WIP's fresh off the tablet.
Warning! There are WIP Text versions in the attachments. So avoid those if you're one of the folks holding out for the end pages.
Been a couple of weeks, and a busy pair they've been too!
After covid, my IRL work ramped up (everybody's been dropping like flies) so I've been getting pulled in every direction, putting in the graft. Luckily I've managed to squeeze in some time to put some miles into these pages. Really happy with that panicked Owen face tbh =D
What's left to do?
- Nicks shirt
- The shadow phase (where I paint up the basic shade) (this is a part I often think about removing in the future, and flip flop between how 3D to make the characters)
- 'Extra's'; think splashes of come, stroked edges, eye-whites, dark bits where things are wet. Stuff like that (this is the most fun part as the more I do here the more it 'pops' and comes alive)
- Bring it all into photoshop for the curves/small fixes. (I do the drawing and painting in Clipstudio)
- Add in word balloons and finish the frames/borders/polish.
I'm excited! Really hoping to find some time to put into this weekend =D
