In English the name for their powers is Quirks, but in Japanese it's Kosei which translates to Individuality. In this world most Quirks can give you clues to a character's personality (individuality). Bakugo is loud with an explosive personality Uraraka has a light and uplifting personality This pattern works for a lot of characters. Not all because that would be over complicated for the author. But it can be a fun game to puzzle it out. Koda is shy and quiet, perfect for working with animals Minata has balls on his head... So to help you understand Monoma better, his Quirk is Copy. He needs others for his Quirk/Kosei (individuality) to work. This is a part of why he is so obsessed with his class. His Quirk represents a trait that defines him as an individual. When you see through Bakugo's way of speaking you see his intentions underneath. What will you see when you look deeply at Monoma? Only more screen time will tell.

So the quirk to pass on combined with the stockpiling quirk is what becomes one for all. This was all explained in ep 33.

2025-03-11 20:24:35 +0000 UTCJust to clarify for you guys. All Might, Deku and the First User (AllforOne's brother) were quirkless, so there are 6 Quirks (from 2nd to 7th users) inside One For All. And One for All itself is another quirk that just accumulates Power and passes it on. The rest you guys will know with time... Love ya (sorry about the shitty english, I'm brazilian 😅)
