Yvette's room!
I had so much fun making this space, it was something where I wanted it to feel unkempt but still inviting. I originally considered having food containers but I am very sensitive to whack smells so I omitted them. Something about a huge pile of cans/bottle really speaks to me. It's just so honest and so funny idk why. I have definitely been a water bottle pile person in the past. Every queer room needs to have some little houseplants, I don't make the rules
I was in Seattle and went into a plant store because of a sign on the street that said "gay plants =>". The owner was so nice and gave me and my friend a free rose. I thought to myself "ahh, they are living the queer dream, this lovely seattle room absolutely filled to the brim with cute little plants". I bought a big pair of plant tweezers there thinking "these must come in handy later".
I've never had a monster energy, though as I type this i recall in high school drinking something called "Ubermonster" which was an experimental flavour in a glass bottle. I mean the classic tall can though, somehow dodged trying one of those. I bought one the first time I drove to LA from Denver, thinking "this will keep me awake". I was too scared to drink it, it just rotted in my fridge after that. I offered it to every person who came over until after 8 months I decided nobody would partake of the monster and reluctantly chucked it. Anyways Yvette is just slamming them like they're being discontinued. Must need lots of energy.
Oh, also, I didn't want to keep the regular Monster label so I made it a little =3 face. Unwittingly this ended up being an easter egg since the planned public release was 3/11, which is just =3 but rotated. Clearly I am aligned with my one true life purpose lmao.
