September is about to end, so I figured I should at least sum up all the progress I managed to do in the past 3 weeks, and relay what's still in the works.
1: Finished all the exteriors(and some interiors) for the West District. It's comparable in size to the east part(from City Hall down to the gate).
2: Added a few new encounters, both for the west and old locations in the east.
3: Added a bunch of new items that'll probably turn out to be OP and need a nerf but fuck it, we ball...

As I said in one of previous posts, I'll try to have more interaction options for people with 2nd and 3rd tiers. First thing I started to consider when making this update was pacing. To elaborate: Should all of the forest area be unlocked right away, despite it being potentially really hard to get through or easy to get lost in, or is the current progressive unlocking of it fine as it is? (Alternatively, should there be some middle ground and it still needs to be unlocked, but earlier?)

The big summer update is finally here. We almost made it within the calendar frame of summer, so it basically counts.
As requested, the main story took a backseat in this one, though there are some definite developments by the end of it. The main focus though are the completely optional sidequests, wilderness treks and treasure hunts. As the prevailing option seems to be focusing on the side content, that's what the 2nd update will mostly focus on (we'll still get to see a bit of Poppy and some main quest progress, don't worry). Thank GOD I trusted my gut and didn't post it here yesterday evening when I THOUGHT it should be roughly playable.
You would not BELIEVE how many bug fixing and missing triggers were found in just 3 hours after I finished my work today, just with having 1 person report them to me live while I kept doing stuff in the rpgmaker.

Been mostly away during the Easter weekend, but now I'm back. Doing a lot of progress on niche stuff like interiors and scripts involved. Also some portraits and battle sprites for demo.

By popular demand, I actually added alchemy today.
5 different potions with different recipes, and currently 5 different ingredients you obtain from monsters (one of them rare). Only done at a certain spot once you learn it though.
That being said, if I ever were to expand it to more recipes (not currently planning to, but you never know) it'd probably need more ingredients and monsters to obtain them.
Question: Are harpies as huntable monsters a neat concept?
