Regarding upcoming iOS app fee

In November 2024, Apple is requiring Patreon to include an "in-app fee" for subscriptions made through the Apple iOS Patreon app. Fortunately, this fee is ✨avoidable!✨ Here's how!:
Do not subscribe through the iOS Apple App store! Instead, use a ✨web browser✨ to subscribe to creators to avoid this fee!
What else to know:
This fee will be added on top of regular membership prices when subscribing through the Patreon iOS app.
This fee does not affect current Patrons. It is only applied to new Patrons who join using the iOS app after the fee is implemented in November 2024.
BUT if you are a current Patron and you were to unsubscribe and re-subscribe after this fee is implemented in November 2024, you will be charged this additional fee if you do so through the iOS app.
We're pretty sure you can still use the iOS Patreon app to browse your feed as normal once you've already subscribed, just don't use it for anything involving a payment process if you want to avoid the Apple App Store fees.
