plans, plans, plans... working around burnout!

sorry again for the late update! i've certainly learned my lesson on burnout, because the burnout i experienced last week lasted into this week and left me basically unable to do anything creative for almost the entire week.. i'd definitely dismissed the danger of burnout, not realizing it had the potential to affect me so severely, which has now well put me behind schedule and is really making me re-consider how much time it will actually take to complete Boy Arena. thankfully, things are getting better! i had been able to work on a personal project a good bit near the end of the week, so hopefully that momentum will carry back over to Boy Arena..

also, very good news!! "Modify" apparently was re-monetized... Months ago! and i only just today found this out. frustrating how youtube operates, but that's a HUGE weight off of my mind! i'd been in a bit of a panic mode for the past couple months, because my income wasn't in a good spot and savings had dried up from last year's big break, but now i don't have to worry so much! this is very relevant to how i'd been all over the place in terms of "what i've been working on", because that panic made me quick to dive into projects that i didn't have time to really evaluate.. it was also a decent factor into my rush to get Boy Arena finished and out, but now that's not an unnecessary factor!

i'm gonna try explicitly scheduling out my work time this next week and see how that goes! i have a bad habit of just kind of working "when i want to" which leads to me working very sporadically, or in the case of the past few weeks before the burnout, way too much.
