to be blunt, i realized something i should've realized from the beginning in that the project the animatic was for was way out of my league for the time being, and would've surely never seen the light of day, so i've jumped ship yet again to something new.. i'm very sorry for my general indecisiveness when it comes to these projects, it's been very hard trying to get something to stick that i can sustainably work on and complete, as well as experiencing severe ADHD brain where i lose focus and steam on any given project very quickly..
so here's the new project: it's a music video! i'm not gonna give much information on it right now, because i'd much rather yap less and prove things by actually working on them, but i have a little hope for this one! i wanted to go for a very loose and wobbly style in the animation itself, similar to "Wanwa the Puppy" from "Genius Party Beyond" where even the background is extremely flexible so everything is basically moving all the time! it might sound intimidating but it's actually been very freeing so far..
i'm taking a different approach to actually making the animation in a way that maximizes the fun of animating while also making it easier to just work on altogether! i guess it's more of a mindset thing, but it's been fruitful so far! one thing is i'm going back to my older way of doing things of doing the animation in chunks, doing a bit of animatic then a bit of animation in a cycle, because making myself do the animatic all at once just doesn't work for me.
