(belated) sunday WIP stuff!! may 23rd 2022
Added 2022-05-23 19:15:04 +0000 UTCsparing most of the details, all of the stuff ive planned and set up this past week turned out to really work out because i started on a new animation, and i managed to bang out the storyboards for about half of the entire animation in one day! the most important part of that though is i did it because it was fun!
so yeah i ended up jumping ship to another new animation, but this time i'm sure it's something i can finish because i've Very learned from my mistakes this year the hard way in terms of "starting projects clearly too ambitious to be mentally sustainable currently". the general line of thinking with this choice was pretty much just "okay im not gonna be able to finish what im working on now in any reasonable time period so it'd be better for me to switch to a simpler project i can work on more mindlessly and have fun doing so where the fun i had would show". i do want to finish that TMBG animation some day since its a cool style, but yeah i'm gonna wait until it's something i'm ready for, since animating in that style is pretty dang technical
also! the song is "Lemon Demon - Birthday", where i cut it down to be about a minute long
