Patreon issues (update)
Added 2019-03-20 19:11:06 +0000 UTCSo patreon finally got back to me. Turns out the issue is Damsel pg 28 but they didn't elaborate on why. My only guess is the knife?? the choking?? I wish they could just Tell Me???
The comic has already shown that he uses the knife to cut his hair. If it's because it ***looks**** violent because of the way he's holding it on page 28 then maybe I'll just edit the page and draw everyone with uwu smiles to convey there's no real danger. I only drew it that way because I wanted to add a stupid little moment of tension because? stories usually have moments of tension to convey some sort of drama? ?
If it's the choking then I don't know what to say. Both of them are enjoying it. It's a kink. Patreon, are you kink shaming me?
Either way, patreon still sees this as "glorifying sexual violence" and I'm still discussing the matter with them through email. Ideally, I'd just like if they can listen to my explanations and let it pass. I'd really rather not have to delete more posts so even if I have to edit it in some way then fine.
So that's where we're at. I'll keep you guys updated.
On a side note!! I'm exhausted by all this vague uncertainty towards NSFW content that pretty much every website throws at me. I've started making my own website so my work can have it's own safe haven. I basically taught myself how to use wordpress over the weekend and I think I've finally reached a good base point for my site. I'd like to implement some sort of Patron Only feature on my site too so you guys still get your perks and exclusivity!

Yes, this censorship is sickening. We went through this 60 years ago. It was straight literature at that time but the censorship was ruled illegal: Lady Chatterly’s Lover, Lolita, etc. My God look at television today! Violence and sex is a meme and shows up every night on prime time television. Patreon like Tumblr is succumbing to neo- puritan, political drive of social control, a very scary proposition that historically has lead to extreme violence and conflict itself!!
