It made me unhappy, misunderstood.
Ma ero io invece, che non avevo mai capita me stessa.
But it was me instead, who had never understood myself.
Ho smesso di preoccuparmi di ciò che volevano gli altri e ho soddisfatto ciò che avevo dentro.
I stopped caring about what others wanted, and satisfied what I had inside.
E lì ho incontrato chi mi ha capita.
And there I met those who understood me.
Io ci ho messo 31 anni per incontrare chi ero veramente.
It took me 31 years to find who I really was.
