So I've finished the dream exploring prototype I've talked about in previous entries.
I'm not entirely happy with how this one turned out and I don't see it becoming part of Fleshcult 2, at least in this channel-surfing incarnation. The options the player has are too abstract, and the mechanics too luck-based. I've got to wrap it up instead of fiddling with it forever. Though I consider it something of a dead end, I imagine some of you will be as curious about those as the successful experiments.
While working on it I made progress with my little Javascript RPG engine. It now has an inventory system, and I fixed some bugs around random encounters that have multiple stages.
To play it, download the zip, open it up, save the HTML file somewhere and open it up in your web browser of choice.
