He gives it to Melchie when they split up and that's who puts his hand up and says it's his

That's why Mon is often seen unbuttoning and undoing her collars while in her car. And Syril's collar height is often mentioned. And as you mentioned, Dedra claws at her collar in that moment.

Same with "I have friends everywhere" when Cassian says it to Mon's right hand guy

2025-10-16 08:13:19 +0000 UTCIn regards to the mission from the end of the previous arc, it's implied that Luthen gave them that mission as a peace offering of sorts. They found out Gorst was going to be on planet and vulnerable from Lonni (the, "calibrate your enthusiasm," scene.) Having his methods expanded to an entire Imperial division would be bad news bears, so it's a win-win for Luthen since it also serves to help Bix get back on her feet.
