Grindhouse: Death Proof

Comments

Bell is her last name

Joel

Jonathan Loughran. I was really surprised they didn't recognize him, especially Simone, who recognizes everyone instantly.

Gary Fixler

The guy selling the challenger was the cross eyed linebacker in the waterboy

Old School Drew

Great reaction as always! Kurt Russell, my boy, guess you havent seen any John Wayne films cuz that's the impersonation he's doing. Watch Big Trouble in Little China if you wanna see his full on Wayne

Ellis Gandy

What’s that? Revenge porn again? Ok Quentin.

Anthony Michaels

Thought it was boring when it came out. Revisited for this, and still thought it was boring.

Kyle B

You definitely should watch Hobo with a Shotgun, great film in a similar style starring Rutger Hauer! :)

Dan Holmes

Yeah.... it's worth getting your hands on the standalone cut of this movie - this is missing a few scenes, including the lap dance to an iconic song - well worth the watch.

Zoe Ball is the best.

Roland coombe

Soooo, CineaBinge, I am suprised you watched this version. I am almost certain there is one with less "Reel Missing" parts. HELL, knowing the youtubes, you can probablly find it one there from a small little uploader

DasBigUn

Kurt Russell is doing an impression of John Wayne.

Caroline

Matt

And Hateful Eight

Again thumbnails are 🔥

SpankTheMonk

More Rosario Dawson please! Clerks 2 or The Rundown!

Galactic Cannibl

The movies Kurt Russell says he worked on are, indeed, real movies from the 70s.

Simon Pegged Me

The exploitation films of the 70s were faster paced.

Roger Davies

Hi Rob, Planet Terror YT post has not been moved. If you click on our main patreon page, it should be near the top of the feed. Alternatively you can also search for it via the patreon Search Post box on the main page.

George Simone

Where did planet terror go? I saw it up earlier...

Rob

Brilliant thumbnail! This is so great 😂

Mike FromOz

Zoe is such a freaking legend. One of the greatest stunt performers ever.

Quentin has called this his "left-handed" movie. I wonder if that was a Princess Bride reference, because Westley and Indigo start their duel with their left hands to deliberately make it more difficult for themselves. I suppose Quentin meant that he was intentionally making a cheesy movie. If so, Rodriguez hit the cheesiness sweet spot more successfully IMO. But this is still a lot of fun though.

Scott CineRam

I know I’m not alone in having fallen in love with Zoe Bell when I first saw this movie.

Jeff K

The actress that played Zoe was Uma Thurman's stunt double for Kill Bill. She was in Django Unchained as well as "Once Upon a Time..." as you mentioned.

mcfierce24

Yes, Zoë Bell is playing herself. She's done the stuntwork for many of Tarantino's films and eventually they said "let's just make her a main character herself". I believe this holds the record for longest car chase on record. My personal favorite part of the entire experience is that sequence when Zoe grabs the pipe and mounts the car. Every time -- EVERY TIME -- it looks to me like a knight going into battle.

JBK405

Gulp!

Mastervodo

Both movies in my opinion are fantastic.

Sol-Edge

I love the setup of this movie. It’s like one long introduction and exposition, with poor Mary Elizabeth Winstead left behind as some sort of collateral and then the last half is just an extended car chase/action scene. But the real showpiece is the stylized beatdown in end straight into a freeze frame.

mojo shivers

Definitely Tarantino's most underrated and one of my favorites

Matt

One of my favorites !!!!!
