Added 2020-07-10 08:25:17 +0000 UTCYeah, I do my level best to keep things light, but in my view, a *lot* of things in life (and indeed, this comic) are a *lot* more dangerous than they appear.
Think about it; this lady has apparently a well-established reputation for accurately being able to tell the future, and yet there were no lines outside, nor any kind of siege, and Gustav and Zashy pretty much got to meet the Oracle directly without any fuss or someone demanding tribute/payment/bribes before they could see her. Does that sound likely?
Well, Zashy just got a *tiny* glimpse of why that is. This lady values her privacy and she has the means to keep it that way.

2020-08-22 15:18:29 +0000 UTCNot 'bad' as in 'evil', but rather 'bad' as in 'we'd be in serious trouble if we tried anything'. Not that I'm implying that they would, only that adventurers like Gustav eventually end up weighing how dangerous just about everything they meet is.
