2024-03-05 10:38:16 +0000 UTCI've always loved this episode. The episode where we finally get to see Wen Kexing with his genteel mask fully off. I had pretty much guessed that he was the Chief of Ghost Valley but this was the episode I understood exactly what that meant in terms of twisted morality. It's especially poignant when just the episode before Zhou Zishu has just admitted that he wanted to find a soulmate and was starting to think Wen Kexing could be the one he spends the rest of his life with. Their breakup hits so hard after the senseless deaths of the Four Sages of Anji. This is really where the story ramps up. I'm really gonna enjoy watching your reaction to the rest.
