Sunny Deol was so mad after this movie cuz all the attention went to SRK (who was a nobody at that time) instead of him who was the hero (and one of the most popular bollywood actors of that time). No other actor anted to play this role, but SRK took on the challenge and believe it or not, this movie was what really put SRK on everyone's radar. He played 1-2 more crazy characters after this till he transformed into the King of Romance lmao. Sure this movie has aged poorly, but during the time it came out, no one had seen anything like it and "I love you k-k-k-kiran" became the line that gave everyone goosebumps and SRK is famous for it to this day. Adding the stutter was in fact his own idea.

2023-05-03 11:02:46 +0000 UTCI caved and watched this movie just for your reaction cause I seen the movie twice before around time it first came out n honestly did not care to watch it again, to me one of the worst Rahul character srk couldve played lawdd this def not worth the 3 hr long but will say u had me crackin up wen u said the duck duck goose with the shooting 🤣🤣. FUN FACT: This is the iconic movie with the longest run n chase scene ever they actually had to do that whole sequence over 56 takes just to get it for a full day n in shoot frame where it didnt looked edited so yeah everybody blood pressure was rising during the watch of the entire movie thanks for actually watching it thru 😀

But this is how SRK had started his career; he took up roles like these other leading actors found risky for their image because at that time espeically people would get typecasted in their onscreen image. However, for SRK it worked in his favour! People really loved his performance which was very new; people loving the villain! Sunny deol wasn't happy about the fact that SRK despite playing the bad guy was taking the limelight. Hence he never worked with the director or SRK. I don't think a movie like this can work now unless it is very well written and SRK himself has said this in an interview that he knows he can make bad guys/characters bring a certain charm onscreen (not this one though personally) so he doesn't choose them any longer simply because he feels responsible now being the star he is. You're right there is a reason for Rahul's character only stammering on the name 'Kiran' which SRK spoke about in some interview but I don't remember the reason anymore😂 Great reaction! Only had seen this once before and this is going to be the last time.

If srk is my favorite romantic hero sunny deol is my favorite 19s actoin hero 100% his movies are only actoin i'm also big fan his father his brother .
