Raised in a plebeian family of royal attendants, Daira Belmonte continues the family tradition under the service of the current king, Mauro Arastelia, and Princess/Prince Ada/Omar, her childhood best friend.
Since she was a little girl, Daira already knew how her life was going to be and has always accepted her duties with pleasure and excitement, even if it meant sleepless nights. And, according to Daira herself, for someone who loves politics so much, those nights, rather than sinking into mountains of work, were more like being in an amusement park trying out the thrilling ups and downs of the roller coaster.
She is a capable, intelligent and professional woman, and cares deeply about the state of the kingdom and its citizens, to the point of overstepping the bounds of her regular duties and becoming overly involved (with the king's approval), which some of the leaders find offensive.
