Probably a Kelsey question, but I was in Japan recently and learned Japanese GameCubes have a different cartridge than US circle discs. Was very surprised. Was the GameCube an outlier with this?

Are there opportunities for roleplay or is it mostly going from battle to battle with a bit of interstitial world building/lore drops? Have you attempted to play it as a mix of couch co-op and online? If so, how did that feel?
