Contribute An Auction Item To 2025's Give To The Max Charity Stream!

Hey everybody, we're a long ways off from our big Give To The Max charity stream happening in the fall but I wanted to plant some seeds early. Every year folks from the community donate amazing items for us to auction off for charity. We don't ask for them, but they happen anyway. Items like former Game Informer co-worker Jen Vinson's dice below are a good example. We'd love to come up with a system to pull some great auction item options from the community without asking you all to contribute your effort/time/money and overloading our streams. We only have so many slots during the show to auction things off.

So here's the plan: We have FIVE SLOTS for charity auction items submitted by members of the MinnMax community. Make a pitch in the comments below for what your charity auction item could be: a PlayStation controller carved out of wood, a rare sealed copy of Chrono Trigger signed by the developers, a custom oil painting of a pet, a MinnMax logo wax sculpture, a weekend at a tropical resort you own, feel free to get creative and think outside the box. We will then select our five favorite things and reach out to the contributors to ensure these projects are on target for the charity stream in the fall. We'll reach out on Patreon here. Please do not send us anything if you're not one of the five selected people, you'll overwhelm the system.

That all being said, we do have a MinnMax PO Box if you wanted to send anything for uses outside the charity stream.

By the way, we're currently planning some charitable activity for MinnMax in the near future so stay tuned on that front. Thanks so much, everybody!

I handcut coin jewelry with a jeweler's saw and have an old Namco arcade token with Pac-Man on it that would be a great fit. I'd be happy to pair it with a 12-piece coin puzzle or the MinnMax logo cut into a MN state quarter or something like, basically anything you guys think would be a good auction item and ~$100 retail value. I have some examples on instagram @coinoperatedjewelry or my website www.coinoperatedjewelry.com if that helps.

I donated the Best of MinnMax: Collector's Edition wooden case last year, and I'd volunteer another but I no longer have access to the CNC machine I used to make it. I plan to buy my own in the near future, but I wouldn't want to commit to making something if it's uncertain. I'm planning to improve the process and possibly start selling something in a similar vein once I get up and running, so hopefully in the following year I can produce something much more refined for a possible donation!
