We build up a list of our favorite games this year and then boil it down to the Top 20 entries. Sorry, that was a typo. We mean to call it The Two Tens. What will make the cut? Dragon's Dogma 2? Space Marine 2 not even a shout out? The betrayal! The pain! Going off sheer hours played that's definitely my goty and I didn't even like Warhammer until this year when this game got me interested. Now I'm going through and scooping up any 40k games that go on discout on stream, I want to try them all! SM2 opened an entire world to me which maybe doesn't make it a contender for best made game but it does make it a close to the heart favorite of my mine

2025-01-03 20:18:33 +0000 UTCI know it had so much sociopolitical garbage around its release, but I’m really enjoying Veilguard. Definitely more than most of the Indy games I’ve spent 15-20 minutes with this year, and enough that it would be a top 10 game for me this year
