I’m a gamer over 30. The older I get I notice the more back hurts after playing games for awhile. How do y’all sit and play games for hours on end? What are proper gamin’ ergonomics?

The Beard Knight

Ok……. Alarmo just happened. Now I’m not so sure. 😂

Poofydoo

Corn? Or baby corn? Discuss.

Hi MinnMax! Baldurs gate has thrown a beautiful giant wrench into my gaming habits. I waited for the physical release. Everything else that’s been coming out that I’ve been wanting to play has been put on the back burner and all of a sudden I’ve become a patient gamer. Anything recently strike your fancy so hard it threw a wrench into your gaming plans?

Joshua H.

Always love this question and the answers you get. Cerebral Bore from Turok 2 is a personal favorite. Nothing quite like a gun that shoots homing balls that attach to your skull and sucks out your brains sending them spilling onto the ground below 😬 As for strongest, scary, and completely broken, the Farsight XR-20, from Perfect Dark. It sees through walls / entire maps and shoots through them as well. Remember getting into a lot of fights with my brothers for using this during multiplayer.

PixelPunchTV

Hi MinnMax! If there exists a video named after you, so for example Kyle Hilliard the game or Haley MacLean the game, what do you think the genre of the game will be?

resnet

Howdy Partners, Have you ever struggled to give a adaption a fair chance before? I'm trying to go through Silent Hill 2, but i'm finding myself nitpicking the game constantly for essentially being a game. Why are suddenly so interesting in fixing this random Juke box James, do you really think it's a good idea to crawl into a bloody hole in a garage?

RedMption

Which of these games is most likely to be nominated for GOTY at the Game Awards this year? - Balatro - Tekken 8 - Helldivers 2

Bon Jon Bovi

My gf’s mom passed way from liver failure earlier this year too. She read Crying in an H-Mart and listens to the Grief Podcast all the time. She’s also gotten into A Court of Thorns and Roses. So I recommend trying anything to help process your grief, including smut about elf zaddys

I remember getting freaked out by the first sewer zombie in TES: Oblivion. I then put myself through video game exposure therapy of sorts, playing slightly more hardcore horror games until I played dead space and loved it. Can’t say I’m a horror fan, but now I don’t get scared of much

AnAttackCorgi

If you could add a "sick stunt" button into any game, which would you choose for maximum chaos?

notweirder

If you could have Jason Schreier (or another game journalist) write a book about anything, what would it be about?

Michel Billard

What thing in videogames terrified you as a kid that you don't find scary today (or maybe you still do) I was a sheltered kid growing up so encountering Stalchilds rising up from the ground in Ocarina of Time's Hyrule Field terrified me. I didn't pick up the game until years after. Or finding the zombified King Jingaling in Banjo Tooie after he got hit by Grunty's blaster. The funny thing is I am a huge fan of horror games after finding out that I enjoyed psychological horror like Silent Hill and Fatal Frame.

Brooke Gossard

How has The Callisto Protocol, Alan Wake 2, Hellblade II, and Silent Hill 2 evolved the thriller/ horror genre? How do they set themselves apart from their counterparts?

Ari Torbin

Got any favorite musicals?

Doctorok

Hi all! I know some of you are tabletop fans so I was curious if you have been keeping up with some of the great licensed games that have been coming out recently? Dead cells, slay the spire, cuphead, and Bloodborne to name a few have great board game adaptions. And there are a lot more on the way! Any experience with board game adaptations of video games?

Jerry Young

What is the best (not necessarily strongest) weapon from a video game? Once everyone has answered, if you each had your weapon, who would win in a free for all?

Oliver Watts

If Kirby inhaled you, what power would he get?

mantaguy

Just to make sure we are all on the same page - Do we all agree that we have reasons to be confident with Nintendo’s future, even short term, while we are uncertain of Sony and Xbox? Wow what a turn from the GameCube and WiiU days.

Poofydoo

Do you think any fighting game ever have more characters than Dragon Ball Sparking Zero (181 before DLC)?

Castor Troy

Cheesecake??? Yes or no?

MechaPig

Dear idiots, I'd like to take a minute to call out Ben Hanson's most egregious hypocrisy to date. On the Aug. 13 2020 episode of Minnmax the question was posed, "is a bowl of lettuce a salad?" Hanson went to the matt arguing that, "it is. It absolutely is!" Cut to September 26, 2024 and the question, "What's the minimum number of ingredients for your tacos?" with Hanson caving to the unwashed masses with the statement "Is everyone in the camp that two ingredients is not enough for a taco?" On the Aug 13. episode in 20202 Hanson even used the example, "If your girlfriends parents served you a bowl of lettuce would you correct them that it is not a salad?" I think this example clearly fits and Hanson would not dare correct his darling wife's parents if served a taco containing only meet and cheese. So...what's with all the back and forth? If i wanted a bunch of B.S. based on whichever way the wind is blowing that day i'd listen to the Joe Rogan podcast. I demand satisfaction! And i dare anyone to say this didn't make the podcast the most better! Lastly, keep up the great work!

Cohorts! Here is your challenge! What do the following all have in common? It won’t be tough to figure out. (deep breath) Final Fantasy VII! Silent Hill 2! Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons! Epic Mickey! Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon! Mario vs. Donkey Kong! Lollipop Chainsaw! Until Dawn! Beyond Good and Evil! Braid! Shadows of the Damned! Persona 3! Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door! Yes, these are just SOME, not all, of the games we bought five, ten, or twenty years ago and are now being asked to buy again, and these are all just from THIS YEAR alone. I understand that a lot of this is cynical repackaging to take advantage of nostalgia. But I also recognize that some of it is an attempt to give development teams something to work on in an industry at severe risk of implosion. My question is what happens when we run out of past games to mine? It’s easy to forget these are a finite resource. Dare I ask how much Triple-A development is propped up entirely by remakes and remasters, and how long that appetite can possibly be expected to last, and what that will mean for the industry once it dries up?

wittynicknamehere .

What’s your favourite work of fiction about grief, or that helped you deal with your own grief? Lost my Dad to cancer earlier this year and I’m still processing it

Sheena Woodfield

Hey cohorts, What is a game from one IP that serves as an accidental fit into a totally separate other IP? For example, I have been playing through Enslaved: Odyssey to the West which sports a world and premise which is surprisingly similar to the Horizon series.

Graham Jones

Hey Folks, I've had a 1080p Sony TV for just under ten years. I'm sure to be missing out in the refresh rate department but am I missing anything at this point by not having 4K resolution? What are you all rocking for TV's / monitors?

GreenMountainState

Usually my nightmares take place in an amalgam of random places. Usually my childhood home/town I lived in from age 5-22. Last night my nightmare was in a warped version of Salamanca in Tasmania, a town myself and my wife visited on holiday - very silent hill.

Wort wort wort Cohort! (CoWort?) Can y’all agree on a mainline Halo game ranking?

AnAttackCorgi

If someone tells you they can juggle does that raise or lower your opinion of them?

Chandler

Hey all. What do you like better, windmills or lighthouses?

Jared Piers

Hey guys, I need some advice. I'm trying to skate at the pro level and recently had my dream taken away from someone who I thought was a friend. My friend and I were able to record me performing a mctwist in between two hotels. It was absolutely insane and I couldn't believe we got it on film. I had planned to use this video to showcase my skills and hopefully go pro. Unfortunately, my friend was so jealous of me that he edited the hotel mctwist video to make it look like he did it. He ended up going pro because of this. What should I do?

MyNameIsDan

Hey Minnmax What is a video game that you think has a really cool or great name? It doesn't matter how good or bad the game itself actually was. You just have to list a game name that really stands out to you. There was a canceled game in 1995 for the Atari Jaguar called Black Ice/ White Noise. I think that is an awesome name for a video game!

Juz10

Ben, if you haven't seen it already please check out the stalker 2 documentary Tears 😭

Sekiro505

What do you guys do to get to the spooky season spirit

Elizabeth Fort

Hey all! Is there another era of games that you would love to see get a UFO 50 style treatment? For example, a bunch of early 3D games for the N64 era.

Adam Issa

For me it's pseudoregalia, nine sols, UFO 50

CrabPalace

Hey gang!! are there any albums/songs you associate with games you've played? For me, metaphor: refantazio is kinda giving BRAT summer

Ant Henderson

Unicorn Overlord. I'm pretty sure I've had that thought for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree and also Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

Dusty Beaman

I would check out Jason Schreier's "Blood, Sweat, and Pixels", "Press Reset", and "Play Nice"

Dusty Beaman

None, I have a PS5, Xbox, and Switch OLED. Not sure what PC only game I'm even interested in

Dusty Beaman

Depends on the meal; breakfast: biscuits & lunch/dinner/supper: bread rolls

Piggybacking on last week's question about squirrel genocide, what extinct animal would you bring back if you could (without any Jurassic Park consequences, of course)?

I would introduce myself as the guy who asked about Ben's dirty laundry lol

Dusty Beaman

Food and water?

Dusty Beaman

Rise of the Ronin; I recently also finished Atlas Fallen but I don't think I spent 50+hrs on it

Dusty Beaman

Hi MinnMax crew. With everyone being so hyped on Dragon Age, I can't help think about the combat of Final Fantasy XVI, being full action combat. The game had good visuals, an interesting plot premise, but overall was ok game. However, there was a particular moment in a fight that had left Earth, which the music was unbelievably good, matched the timing of the fight, as well as the visuals being just unreal. This really elevated my overall opinion of the game. Are there any games that had single moments that brought your overall opinion of the game up?

Donald Wieden

I’m finishing up writing my annual Halloween D&D mini-campaign. Do you have any spooky suggestions for timely traps or villains? Note: the campaign contains several Pee-wee’s Big Adventure easter eggs.

Travis in Fargo

Bummer! Same for me.

Hey gang! I’m sitting here waiting for Hurricane Milton to come and spend some time with me, uninvited guests are the worst, amirite!? Anywell, as I will likely be without power by the time this airs, what’s everyone’s favorite activity that doesn’t require electricity? Me personally, I’ll be doing a fair bit of reading this week! To any fellow members of the community who’re in the path of the storm, be safe! And you’re not alone! See you on the other side of it!

Anyone enjoying Deadlock? (Leo?) I feel like it's such a fun blend of hero shooter-y, MOBA-y, and movement tech goodness. When do y'all think Valve will turn on the monetization and what do you think it will look like?

Veltis

Hello all and special thank you to you all for the charity stream! I've been thinking about backlogs and have a few questions: 1.) How long does it take after you set a game down for it to be considered on the backlog rather than you actively playing it? For instance: I recently finished Princess Peach Showtime but I would go weeks between play sessions on that game (I was playing other games). I never considered it "on my back log". 2.) How many games are allowed on your backlog at one time...is there a limit? 3.) At what point do you take a game off your backlog? Like, it’s been there too long or you are honest with yourself that you are not actually going to get to it? Bonus question: will Jeff M ever finish Red Dead 2? Special bonus question: how many games are on Dan Tack’s backlog?

Dusty Beaman

After hearing Ben often suggest everyone read "Seven Games" by Oliver Roeder, I finally did! It was an incredible and insightful read breaking down seven games from the earliest to modern day. What seven games or game series deserve the same treatment, with an in depth look at their creation all the way up until modern day? My submission for one of the seven would be Terri's, from it's inception all the up until it was recently truly "beaten" Keep up the great work!

Mason Parker

I learned way too late in life that the sun goes *south* during the day (in the northern hemisphere) before setting in the west. My whole life I thought you could only tell direction based on the sun in the morning (east) and evening (west). Learn anything useful recently that would have been helpful the last few decades?

Aging_Poorly

I updated my Switch this morning to the new firmware and when I opened Echoes of Wisdom, my save had disappeared! I was maybe 15 hours in. I don't know if I can bring myself to replay all that again! What's your worst lost save disaster? Which games were worth the re-grind and which got binned forever?

Greg Lovell

I haven’t heard anyone mention this, but do you think the change to Unreal Engine for Halo also has something to do with making future Halo compatible with other consoles, assuming that their proprietary engine had a lot of dependencies with Xbox/Windows APIs? Do we see Halo performing better (sales wise) on other platforms as a result of this?

Supergeon

A few months ago, Ben mentioned how people would consider Chained Together a GOTY if it starred Mario and Luigi. It got me thinking, which game would have the biggest boost in critical reception if it starred Nintendo characters?

Tess

What electronic device has given you the most trouble in your entire life?

Mars Barrow

What’s a gaming myth or conspiracy theory you find most intriguing or you believe in yourself? Personally as a kid when I saw those videos of Bigfoot in San Andreas it changed that game completely for me and I became way too scared to play it.

Matt - Scalith

What food do you think you’ve eaten the most of in your life? I don’t mean like a meal that you’ve had a lot but the individual pieces of food that you’ve eaten the highest quantity of. Grains of rice? Kernels of corn? French fries?

SuperCerberus

Favorite Halloween candy? Is it different now than it was when it was when you were younger?

Chris Pelley

What's the last/best/worst thing you've won? Oversized Sylvester (the cat) stuffed animal after our first ride at 6 Flags. Sister loved it, but it couldn't have been more inconvenient to carry all day.

Chris Pelley

Hi, MinnMax crew, How do you, as games journalists, reckon with the relationship between mental health and reviewing games? In example, do you ever feel like it was hard to give a game a fair shake because of how you were doing mentally at the time? Not to mention the pressure of deadlines and reviewing a big game you have to consume in a week versus consumers consuming it over a couple weeks, months or even a year!

Abe

What is the most shameful modification you've ever made to a meal at any restaurant?

Floof Queen Emily

Hello Minnmaxerinos You have to get rid of your entire game collection (physical) how are you doing it? Selling them to retail, Piece by piece on ebay, big ol lot of them, giving them to friends, donating? Is your estate sale going to be as cool as mine?

betoq92 .

Which game if any has had the strongest physiological effect on you? I remember when playing Paper Beast on PSVR2 (criminally underrated btw) near the end there is a part where you are underwater and there are loads of intense movements and lights happening, I just stood there looking at it all and felt like I was getting palpitations, it was just so intense, I can’t think of any other game that’s had an effect like that but it means I’ll never forget the game!

Olie

If you could go on a leashed walk with any animal, and it was just automatically leash trained equivocally to a service dog, what kind of animal would you choose?

Crayter

With it being spooky season and the crew discussing Silent Hill 2 this week, I'm curious what movie or game or book was the one that truly scarred you. What's the most scared you've been by a piece of horror media?

Michael Lane

Hey MinnMaxers, When I was working at a scientific institute in Switzerland for a summer, I came across a several vending machines that served various types of coffee, hot chocolate, and inexplicably — at the very bottom — mushroom soup. Naturally, I had to try the mysterious mushroom soup as soon as I found a machine that had it in stock, and sure enough, I was served some questionable mushroom soup in a coffee cup. I just hope the next person getting a coffee didn't enjoy a lingering cursed shroomy taste... What's the weirdest thing you've received from a vending machine? - Tom

Tom

Did you accomplish what you wanted to this summer?

Travis in Fargo

Do you have hobbies outside of video games that you wish you had more time for? Recently I’ve been giving myself more time to get back into things like painting and even writing short stories to send to sci fi magazines. It’s been great to split my time between different interests which I haven’t done in years.

Donnie

When I heard the question about the best interactive credits sequence last week, I was amazed Nier Automata didn't come up! It's probably one of the most memorable parts of the game!

Tom

How important is money to you in games? My wife will not leave a single grass uncut or cheese wheel laying around if it means she can get a single extra bottle cap at the merchant. I, on the other hand, just assume I'll get plenty of loot from killing the boss. Are there any games where it truly pays to be a money grubbing gamer?

Frostphorus

What's the most absurd running joke you have with your friends, and how did it start? For example, my best friend and I have an ongoing gag about lamenting how unfairly attractive the devil is portrayed in pop culture, as if it's a universal problem everyone struggles with. Every time we see a demon or the devil in media we launch into a silly tirade about it.

tronfacex

Is it just me, or are eggs getting harder to cleanly crack? It never used to be a problem, but in the last few years I find that, no matter my cracking technique, I'll often end up with bits of shell in my eggs! Has chicken health gone downhill, resulting in more brittle eggs? Am I the only one experiencing this? What the shell is going on!

Maths

Hello everyone, This was one of my favourite questions that was asked on the Giant Bombcast over thirteen years ago and I wanted to see what everyone's answers might be. Choose one of the following animals The Dog - Can Read Minds and Communicate with you telepathically - Plant one tree per day anywhere in the world you want. It grows instantly -He is a 5 star chef But Must be within 25 feet of you at all times or you get "bone-chilling" migraines Racist - if you are around anyone who isn't white he constantly ridicules them to you through telepathy The dog has the voice of Gilbert Gotfried The Cat -Teleportation can transport you anywhere as long as you hold it -He will do your taxes and ensure you receive the highest refund, He will do them the second you get your W-2 -If the cat lives to be 20 or older he will grant you the secret to immortality -He will teach you one extreme sport of your choosing and you will become an expert at it But -If he dies before he is twenty you will get a curse of a full year of bad luck -He smokes a pack of cigarettes a day and you need to buy them for him -He only eats specialty cat food and you need to drive to the pet store to get it -He is diabetic and make sure he has insulin -He doesn't like being touched and will scratch you if you touch him

Joe Shmoe

If it was revealed at noon tomorrow that every bottle of Mountain Dew on store shelves would increase one’s lifespan by 6-12 hours, what do you think would happen to society?

Travis in Fargo

Benny and the Cojorts! What do y’all think about a future that includes a modular approach to consoles??? Like a base console that can be upgraded like a pc but simplified to maintain the easy to use nature of a console? Both Xbox and PlayStation have allowed console owners add storage this generation and with the closing gap in console price compared to pc, the move toward more games moving to pc, is it as crazy as it sounds?? I mean 10 years ago I would have told you that cross platform was crazy. Anyway, y’all are amazing!

Andy Weas

In your restless dreams, what town do you see?

McGreevy

Did anyone else see that screenshot of Halo and say to themselves "I might buy an Xbox to see the original Halo like that...." ?

Vilis

What would happen if we shaved the Muppets?

Travis in Fargo

Howdy minnmax, I recently moved from Florida to Chicago and am feeling a little homesick. In particular I miss the smell of palm fronds and the swamp on a cold morning. Are there any very specific smells/sounds/tastes/sights from somewhere or someone that you miss?

Dill Pickles

If Joker is to Bioshock: Infinite, then Joker: Folie à Deux is to what?

Travis in Fargo

Disregarding quality, what are the two most different games you can think of?

CrabPalace

I know it's been addressed before but how do you all manage your backlog? I have finished Zelda and am overwhelmed by options, do I play lost crown from earlier this year, Disco elysium or several others that I genuinely think i would enjoy. It's frustrating to accept the fact there are great games I will not be able to play due to the time commitment, am I nuts?

Kevin Kuper

Hi all! My wife and I just had a child a month ago, and I've found that the Playstation Portal has been a lifesaver for being able to keep up with games (especially late at night). When we were kids, portable gaming was for playing games anywhere, but with cloud devices, do you feel like portable gaming's modern purpose is largely catered to adults who don't have the time to sit at a desk or on the sofa for hours at a time?

The Canipa Effect

What is the best game you have played that you did not think you would like going into it? I didn’t think Persona 5 would be my cup of tea, but ended up loving it! Very excited to dive into Metaphor once harvest is over and I have some more free time on my hands.

Parker Aden

Is there any major form of media where you don’t have a favourite thing? For example, favourite game, movie, book, album etc.!

Derek

Hey there Cohorts! I recently stumbled upon a fun fact about one of my all-time favorite MegaDrive games Talmit's Adventure—in the US, it went by the name Marvel Land. I doubt I would have fallen so hard for the game if it sounded like it was trying to pass itself off as one of Spider-Man’s sidekicks... Have you guys ever come across a foreign game title that you think is better than your local version? Thanks for the content, keep it churning :)

Mootkinstein

In the recent Max Spielberg interview, it was surprising to learn that his dad enjoys games as well. Who do you think is the biggest secret gamer out there?

Phelix Diaz

With the red hot reviews of Metaphor, can we finally put Hashino's name up with the Game Director greats? Modern Persona, Catherine, and Metaphor have such a great vision that Hashino is able to center every element of the game around from UI, to time management, to character development and combat. And each of these elements always feed on each other. It's a cohesion that I feel like is only seen so consistently with Supergiant's games.

Tanner Hoisington

Hello hello Minnmax! This week we saw one of the biggest reveals of the year as Creative Assembly finally confirmed to be working on an Alien Isolation sequel! I often scoff at people hyping up games with no gameplay trailers, yet here I am with a game I know nothing about very high in my most anticipated list. What's a game that got announced with little to no details that you anticipated from the getgo and how did it pan out when/if it came out?

Luca Alberti

Have any of you played a game with little to no knowledge of what it actually is? I watched the initial trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio and nothing since, but it looks stylish as hell and I've enjoyed other Atlus games so I was sold. Now that glowing reviews are out, I can't wait to see what I'm getting in to!

Kelsey Sims

Hi Minnmax, has there ever been a "Legendary status" piece of media (Game, movie, show, album, etc) that you arrived to late, and despite some healthy skepticism going in, the experience somehow exceeded the hype and your expectations? And perhaps even to a life changing degree. (My example would be seeing Apocalypse Now a few years ago.)

umryan

Hello MinnMax! Story time! One of my first jobs was working the electronics department in my small town's KMart. I remember us getting in copies of Gears of War 3 a week before release date. My somewhat shady brother in law worked on the maintenance team, and let's just say one of the copies...went missing. I vividly remember going over to his house later that week with a friend to try out Gear 3 several days before release. My question is this. Outside of being a part of games media, do you have any favorite memories of playing a game before it's release date?

Michael Griffin

What type of archetype levels (not biomes) are the most common or overused? Sewers, Lab, etc.

Christian Jimenez

How many “only online hero shooters” can you name that you can no longer play. Why is it so many?

HelloAndre!

New Zelda is still on my brain. Can a smoothie really just be two ingredients?

HelloAndre!

Hi all, what’s the first game you remember consciously thinking to yourself “this is my game of the year”? Have you kept track over time?

Jonah Abraham

Hiya CLC's So here's a technicality question for the Two Tens: UFO 50 is technically one game, but it's also 50! When accounting for the Two Tens, is it fair to consider the compilation as one single entry or each individual game as separate entities? P.S. Is BARBUTA a potential bubbler? All the best!

Luis Pérez

Is there any type of "destruction" that makes you feel the same catharsis as creating? Ripping up/deleting plans or timetables after you've finished with them, or throwing away scrap and organizing a workspace after a physical project?

Mike Lynch

Game creators more often create new visuals than they create new sounds. So many times you will see a universe filled with new races, spells and weapons, but for the sound effets they record real swords/bows/guns etc. Why do you think that is and should more studios try to create new original sounds that match the originality of the visuals?

Vincent Lorenceau

Question for Kyle: Have you checked out Mega Man X8 demake? it's amazing and in the style of x1-3. If you have what are your thoughts and do you ever think we'll get X9? -Patrick G

Patrick G

I got the new Zelda on the brain. If you could echo things to improve your life, what would your top 5 most echo’ed thing be? Mine is boring. Phone, keys, seltzer, hamburger, and a brick of cash babyyyyyyyyy!

HelloAndre!

Howdy MinnMax, What are some great books on video game history and development? I recently picked up the Spelunky autobiography by Derek Yu along with Seven Games: a Human History and have been loving both and want to dive into some more stuff. Thanks for all you do!

Plastic_Sinatra

According to ChatGPT, the ratio of destroyed to eaten is 3:2 in favor of destroyed.

Thors Thrown Throne

Recently beat rebirth and watched the final section the deepest dive. I teared up (cried…) more after hearing people talk about the ending and begin to explain it to me than I did actually playing the ending. Where do you think rebirth is gonna land on the two tens in relation to metaphor or other rpgs that seem to be more understandable?

Daniel Doran

BetterQuest Update: After almost four years, I finally hit my BetterQuest weight loss goal of losing 40 lbs. I wanted to thank everyone who writes in about their goals. Whenever I hear a BetterQuest goal on the podcast, it always gives me an extra boost that week. I honestly feel like that has made the difference in my goal, so this is my shoutout to everyone still working on an old or new quest to keep going.

Joe McMartin

It's MF Pumpkin season cohorts! What do you think the percentage is for pumpkins destroyed vs eaten? Keep in mind, according to Food and Wine, pumpkin spice has no pumpkin in it.

Thors Thrown Throne

I don't play games on PC. So I spend a lot of time waiting for games to come to ps5 or switch. What game are you waiting to come to other consoles?

CrabPalace

Does anybody use GameFly? I’ve been subscribed for the past year and it’s been a life-changer. I’ve been able to rent almost every big new release (physical discs in the mail) for just under $20 a month. With video games and general cost of living getting more expensive, I think the service is one of the best deals in gaming right now and I don’t really hear about a lot of gamers using it; is it just not a well-known service anymore?

Landon Carter

What is the superior side carbohydrate, biscuits or bread rolls?

Steven Nelson

Hey MinnMax, Have we considered the fact that Metaphor Refantazio is the best named game simply due to the sequel potential? MeTWOphor Refantazio Metaphor THREEfantazio MetaFOUR Refantazio The series practically names itself.

Drake Heinhorst

I'm setting the over/under at .5 for the number of people in calendar year 2024 who have beaten LA Noire's VR version. Are you going over or under? (Feel free to find & replace LA Noire VR with any other random obscure game you can think of.)

ChazCheeto

Greetings Minnmaxers, What’s a game that you are currently playing that no one else knows you are playing right now? I’m a closeted Ooblets player and I’m now opening up to my recent 5 hour play session

CptCobblePot

If you could get any game for free, but the catch was you had to wait 1 year after launch to play it and thus miss the conversation and hype, could you handle the FOMO? You could not speak a single word about the game for a year or you are smited by gamer god.

RickyWinterborn

If you were introducing yourself to the Minn Max crew for the first time, what would your go-to fun fact about yourself be? Bonus points if it's a fact someone else didn't already know about you

Matthew Byerwalter

Yo Not to get political or anything😬 but how different would our world look if every world leader was forced into an empty room with nothing but a PS5 and a copy of Astro Bot, and they had to play it to completion.
