If you are going to play on PC with M+KB, I highly recommend you download this fix for aiming with the mouse - https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/840-dead-space-mouse-fix/ Without it, there is a massive deadzone while zoomed in and it feels terrible

2021-07-25 01:25:33 +0000 UTCThis is definitely on my top 10 (maybe top 5) best games ever. One of a handful that I got a platinum trophy for. Dead Space 2 is probably better overall, but this first game came out of nowhere and was head and shoulders about anything else at the time. RE4 may have set the standard for 3rd person-over-the-shoulder-shooter gameplay, but Dead Space made it truly terrifying.
