Pelvis tilt
Added 2023-05-19 02:13:04 +0000 UTCBy changing your pelvis tilt you change the activation of your glutes, core and hamstrings.
Tight hamstrings” are often felt in individuals with an anteriorly tilted pelvis. With anterior pelvic tilt, our hip flexors shorten, and the hamstrings lengthen and eccentrically load. This muscle imbalance causes the sensation of tight hamstrings.
In a lot of pelvic tilt issues, the hip flexor and hip extensor muscles are heavily influenced. Since these muscles attach to the pelvis and lower back you can expect other pelvic region muscles to tense up.
These muscles include but are not limited to the psoas major, rectus femoris, and quadratus lumborum.
Try this exercises moving between anterior and posterior pelvis tilt and see which one your glutes are more active. Join me on 10 tier for video teachings like this and top two tiers naked teachings like this all angles.
