                                                              Wolf

This golem has a very strange appearance. It looks a lot like a normal human being, but without any clothes or signs of gender. Not only that, but the creature has strange metal blades sticking out of its elbows, no mouth, and two glowing blue eyes.

                           _-| Unnamed – Scythian Golem – Level 1009 |-_

But the thing that bothers me the most about it is how quiet the thing is.

If it weren’t for my extremely powerful hearing, I wouldn’t be able to-

The golem suddenly splits its head open in four different directions, similar to some sort of carnivorous plant, and lets out an extremely loud shriek that makes me almost drop down to my knees with my ears ringing.

Shiiiiit!!!

I rapidly increase the soundproofing on my headphones before focusing on healing, but as I’m doing this, the golem suddenly begins charging directly at me with wild abandon.

Without wasting a second, I jump out of the way of its charge, leading it to crash straight into the wall of the lowest level of the temple behind me.

Just what I needed. A fast and loud assassin type monster.

Which is a little contradictory in and of itself, but who am I to judge the weird monsters in this dungeon.

My eyes narrow slightly as the cloud of dust that had shaken up from around the base of the temple clears, revealing the golem, who is currently staring directly at me without a single scratch on its person.

Not even a scratch?

Is that because it’s so high leveled, or just because of its species?

I haven’t actually tried ramming into a wall – for obvious reasons – so I don’t know if it would actually hurt me or not.

Well regardless, playtime is over.

I raise my hand and push a large wave of ice element straight towards the creature right as it begins another charge towards me.

Unsurprisingly – seeing as its level is only a few levels above mine – the creature turns into a solid block of ice just seconds after coming into contact with my ice element.

After watching it for a second just to make sure, I open up the System Forums to do some research on this monster.

Because…

I glance at the frozen monster whose mouth is wide open.

…it certainly wouldn’t be a pleasant fight if I didn’t have my ice

Within the Administrator Dungeon, on the sixty-second floor

A loud bout of laughter echoes through a small part of the ocean making up the sixty-second floor as Techral – otherwise known as Alaric Ridel – casually backpedals his way through the water. Meanwhile, every monster that comes across him somehow ends up accidentally making a fatal mistake, ending in them being killed by one of Alaric’s laser beams.

Suddenly, after hours of this, Alaric’s laughter comes to a halt. He then jerks his head to look towards the West before pursing his lips slightly.

After several seconds of silence, a smile lights up his face and he begins to swim towards the West.

At the same time, half a kilometer to the West of Alaric’s location, a dwarf can be seen wielding a sword from atop a small ship against a harpy.

“Damn creature,” she swears before thrusting her sword through the monster’s heart, killing it almost instantly.

Karunn Kegale – the same smith who Wolf had ran in to a while back – puts her sword into her inventory to clean it before taking it back out and sheathing it.

‘When I built this damn boat, I didn’t expect there to be any flying creatures,’ she thinks to herself with a grimace as she walks towards the helm of the small ship. Once she gets there, she simply sits down on a box near the wheel and opens up the System Forums.

Several minutes pass by while her ship continues moving through the water until a shout breaks the silence.

“Ahoy there!” Alaric’s voice echoes over the sound of the waves, immediately catching Karunn’s attention. “Mind letting me aboard for a moment?”

The dwarven smith immediately rushes over towards the side of the boat the voice is coming from before looking down at the water and finding Alaric floating next to the ship.

“What the fuck…?” she mutters for a second before shaking her head and dropping the anchor a little while shouting back. “Grab the anchor!”

Alaric gives her a playful salute as the anchor continues dropping until he reaches out to grab it and it begins climbing back up.

Once the anchor reaches the deck of the ship again, he gets off of it and onto the deck itself while stretching his arms and saying, “Ahh, it feels so nice to be back on land again!”

Karunn lifts an eyebrow at his actions before shaking her head with a light smile. However, after the man suddenly lets out a bright flash of light, she draws her sword.

Once the light fades away, Alaric is revealed without a drop of water on him, with the exception of the light rain pouring down on them.

The dwarf continues holding her sword for a few seconds but sheathes it again once Alaric begins walking over to the edge of the ship to peer down at the waves.

“There’s way too much water on this floor,” he says, but despite his words, a smile is still spread across his face.

“Oh,” he suddenly says, his eyes widening slightly in surprise before he turns to look at Karunn, “What’s your name? If you don’t mind me asking.”

Karunn’s eye twitches slightly as her brows furrow in irritation.

‘You asked to board my ship without even knowing who I am?!’ she thinks to herself but doesn’t say it out loud in the off chance that his luck might hurt her somehow. “I’m Karunn of Kegale Smithing.”

The man’s eyes widen further along with his smile as he claps his hands and says, “Wonderful! A smith!” He then leans in slightly and asks, “Would you mind helping me craft somethin?”

The woman’s eye twitches again, but she leans forwards anyways at the prospect of business, “Depends on what you would like. And if you can afford it.”

Alaric leans back again while letting out a joyous laugh before looking directly into her eyes and saying, “Let’s get down to business!”
