2023-01-11 16:31:45 +0000 UTCRight 1927 :) Thanks, I just remembered 1920 something...I was pretty close in that case :) Of course I missed the right frame for a few seconds haha :D I did enjoy the reference of Dr. Who, too :) I like that you enjoyed the last episodes more than I did. :) They weren´t bad, but this one was soo much better :)

2023-01-11 16:27:49 +0000 UTC"Here's one of the secrets - run!", Captain Jack, "Miracle Day - Immortal Sins" The date of the flashback/backstory was 1927 - it was displayed in a video caption of the Ellis Island scene exactly where you were trying to determine the date (you were only a few frames out). It's actually June 2 1927 if you examine the Visa stamp when Captain Jack is getting Angelo out of the cell. Angelo gets out of prison in 1928. I like that Captain Jack references the Doctor and then has Angelo becomes his adventure companion for the break-in. It would have been great to see some more adventures like that. They're attempting to avoid an alternate history involving the future President - a very Torchwood-episode thing. And they kill a nasty-looking alien - nice. There's a reference to Clarke's Law - "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." - Arthur C. Clarke. We've actually heard a paraphrase of it before in "New Earth" from the Cat Matron. Actually, I didn't rate the previous few episodes as poorly as you had. But this one was better.
