⚡Brainstorm for Patreon Exclusive [October 2024]

The 'Magic: The Gathering' cards yielded such a great variety of characters and places last month, so...LET'S DO IT AGAIN (＞w＜)📖, but with a different topic.

The topic for October's Patreon-exclusive is: "SUMMONING YOUR VERY OWN COMPANION."
Lonely? No probs! There's very little that a bit of spellwork can't fix! The companion you summon can be a familiar to cuddle, a possible romantic partner, a teacher of some sort, someone to aid you in a particular quest...and so on. It can even be someone you once knew in the past, that went to reside in another realm!

After your companion has been summoned, you can do any activities you want with them!

Your companion can come from the other-realms, the same world as you, or be an energy construct. You can specify this in your submission if you wish. 

STEP 1:
Choose the character type for the speaker character of the audio, by using Magic: The Gathering Cards. A list can be found here:

Because there are so many, you can stick to the first 1-3 pages (if you like) to avoid overwhelm. You are looking for the words that come after "creature," e.g., Creature - Spirit/ Creature - Angel/ Creature - Elf Shaman Ally.

STEP 2:
Choose at least one destination where the audio will take place, by selecting from this link:

E.g., Snow-covered Forest/ Spawning Pool/ (Stensia) Bloodhall.
Characters can move from location A to location B, if that is part of your plot. 

Note: the audio story will not follow MTG lore - you are just using the cards as inspiration 📖.

STEP 3:
For spooky month: There needs to be mention of at least one spooky, otherworldly, or strange phenomena/creature in your story. This can play either a large or small part in the audio; it's up to you. 

In your submission:
a) Name the character type you chose in step 1
b) Name the destination(s) you selected in step 2
c) Note your spooky month 'thing' or 'creature' in step 3
d) Write a short plot summary for what happens in the audio. This can include the summoning process, your instructions to the being that appears, what you do with each other, your backstory as to why you summoned them, and additional details about the scenery. You may add optional character backgrounds and sound direction, as well as specific lines of dialogue you wish to hear. 

You can submit up to two sets of ideas. If you do, please label them IDEA 1 and IDEA 2.
