The movie is projected to be the most streamed Netflix movie EVER in just a few more days. Sony would be a fool not to make this a franchise. It crazy to think this movie got 1 trailer and no marketing. The popularity is completely from word of mouth and it’s so rewatchable too. Netflix and Sony didn’t believe in it but I bet they will now the budget gonna be crazy next movie. Plus the creator already had 9 movie worth of lore and content built while making the movie so sequels are actually going to be quality as long as Sony and Netflix doesn’t stand in the way

And yeah I kinda thought that it was weird that Bobby was only paid 3% but 3% of millions of money is still a lot lol. And Bobby also seems to do it for the love of it which is nice to see because it means he genuinely has their best interests at heart. Being a hunter can be passed down genetically but it doesn't seem like that is the only way it is passed down since as far as we know only Rumi's mom (Ryu) had a kid. Celine is Rumi's aunt (her mom's sister) but we don't even get a name for the third member of the Sunlight Sisters but I feel like if the third member was connected to either Mira or Zoey then Rumi wouldn't have been the only referred to as "popstar royalty". Communication is (normally) the best answer but I think Rumi has one of the best excuses for being afraid to communicate because she and her friends have been raised to kill all demons and in her mind it would be easy to believe that if she took the risk and told her truth then it could go VERY bad and she could die. And in her defense, Mira and Zoey DID raise their weapons at her when her demon side rippled the Honmoon. Sure they were hurt that she wasn't honest, but there is a difference between feeling hurt because you were lied to and contemplating killing one of your supposed BFFs. That was literally her worst fear realized. A lot of people think of Celine as one of the villains because of how she raised the girls but I just think she is damaged and unable to break a cycle she was also raised in. Her sister had a child with a demon and died not too long after that (based on Rumi's age in the flashbacks and the fact that she doesn't talk about her mom like she has actual memories of her) so that left Celine to have to suddenly raise a child that technically shouldn't have been born. Gwi-ma (the demon king that looks like a fireball) feeds on shame and insecurities, so it does make sense in a way that the Hunters would believe that their faults and insecurities must never be seen because if they showed them they would be vulnerable when not dealing with them leaves them even more vulnerable honestly. Celine did not go about Rumi's situation the right way, but I do believe she loved Rumi as much as she was able to while still battling her own demons. I really hope we get more movies or a tv series because I would like to think that Celine could now experience character growth and learn from Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. I also want more of this because I NEED Jinu back!!! Lol. And some of the characters pronounce his name slightly different but to me is sounds like it is pronounce "Ge-noo" the most (sorry if I messed that up but I'm not good at phonetics). The other Saja boys were Abby, Romance, Mystery, and Baby (the rapper). Also I don't know if you caught it in the credits but the tonic doctor was voiced by Daniel Dae Kim, Bobby was voiced by Ken Jeong, and Gwi-ma is voiced by Lee Byung-hun who is in Squid Games. The speaking voices are different than the singing voices and Rumi's speaking voice is Arden Cho, Mira's is May Hong, and Zoey's is Ji-young Yoo. Rumi's singing voice is Ejae Kim, Mira's is Audrey Nuna, and Zoey's is Rei Ami. I would love it if you broke down their songs! I've never been a huge K-Pop fan aside from KDA but I've honestly been getting into it more and more lately so I'd totally watch your reactions if you did more K-Pop related content. The Sound track versions are mixed better and no movie audio interruptions however i't's just audio not a cool video to go with it. Takedown has 3 versions.
