I think a lot of people are used to school shows where one season = one school year or one summer vacation if they do a season of that (which most don't). So I think people don't realize that seasons 1, 2, 3 and the beginning of 4 are all within the first year of Ricky’s mom leaving. So the amount of growth he's had up until now with no actual professional help is amazing. Yes there's a lot of teens that deal with their parents splitting up but rarely do they have to deal with that and one of the parents moving to a completely different state. Ricky’s parents could see he was struggling with it and still didn't get him the professional help that they should have but he's still made great strides in bettering himself. I think it's easy as adults to look at Ricky and not like him due to his struggles with this, but he's a teenager who honestly has had adult after adult after adult not recognize his struggles and try and get him the help he needs but still is trying to do it on his own which is why I actually like his character.

2023-11-03 01:40:46 +0000 UTCi really enjoy watching youre reactions, also since you react to musical shows, i think you could check out victorious. its a nickeloden show and they sing in it. not every ep, but a couple of they sing lots in it. one ep is 25 minutes, and its a little on the weirder fun site like glee. i love rewatching it.
