2023-03-16 05:25:47 +0000 UTCMarly really likes Jake. But Kitty has caused so much confusion between the the boys and Marly, Marly has no idea who she wants. But, I will tell you this. Can't hate on Marly too much for reacting the way she did with Ryder when he cancelled their date. She is just acting that way because of how Kitty has played mind games with her. By the way, you will hear more of Tina's voice!!

2023-02-06 10:20:14 +0000 UTCI really enjoy this episode! It’s a real coming together. You love to hate Kitty! She’s horrible but she softens later on and you see her differently especially when you learn something about her.

2023-02-06 06:08:55 +0000 UTCI agree. Blaine to me like Rachel is a selfish, bratty drama queen. Love darren's voice but the blaine character is annoying. Kurt can do better.

2023-02-05 06:35:12 +0000 UTC😂😂😂 yeah I totally see that sometimes. I’m like she’s really not thinking about their age and how much they still have to learn about relationships.

2023-02-05 06:32:50 +0000 UTCI understand that this is your opinion and that's fine, but Blaine is quite literally one of the most kindest, caring and genuine characters on glee so that is a HUGE take to say he's worse than Rachel. And yes every character has flaws and make mistakes but they're 16/17 year olds in high school 😂

2023-02-05 05:44:43 +0000 UTCI love the behind the scenes stuff, and especially on this one, as I remember the girl who plays Kitty, Becca Tobin saying that the duet with her and Marley was one of her most embarrassing moments of her life. She had to put baby powder head to toe, just to get into the latex suit, and she's pretty new to set, and only wants to impress these people that she looks up to. She's dancing and singing, and then the body suit rips all the way down the side. Which that wasn't even the worst part. All the baby powder in the world can't absorb the sweat inside a latex suit, so when it ripped, her sweat sprayed out, splashing several of the cast members. She said they were all lovely about it, but this is such a vivid image, that I think of it every time I see this episode. lol I imagine those poor unfortunate people who got a face full of Kitty sweat.

2023-02-05 04:22:28 +0000 UTCI know this is going to be a huge unpopular opinion but…..Blaine is so selfish and self centered. I honestly think he’s worse then Rachel. He’s also kind of a cry baby. Always woe is me (remember his storyline with his brother too) and feeling as though someone has betrayed him. When he’s the one doing all of the betrayal. First he can’t handle being away from Kurt for like a month so he goes and cheats on him. Then he finally starts to feel guilty about that so of course he can’t be anywhere that reminds him of Kurt and his betrayal so he decides to also betray the glee clue who barely have enough members to complete by going back to the Warblers. He is seriously the one character I can not stand. I know he’s a big fan favorite but I’ve just never liked him. Sorry. One other note I don’t really think Marley was aiming to make him feel guilty. I think she was just caught off guard and was disappointed. I think Kitty’s really gotten into her head so her self worth is kind of in the dumps. That’s probably why she marched up to jake and asks him out. Kitty comes up and says it’s because everyone’s saying she’s bloated why Ryder broke off the date. So subconsciously I think she asks Jake to show kitty she’s worthy.

2023-02-04 17:54:55 +0000 UTCI have very minor dyslexia but I also have something called oral apraxia which affected my ability to read out loud and I felt so deep in my soul what Ryder was saying. I had 2 older sibling who also have oral apraxia but when you're that young you don't get that your parents will understand even then

2023-02-04 05:15:41 +0000 UTCI really love the scene between Ryder and Finn in the hallway. I've worked with many teens with dyslexia who often are extremely bright but unfortunately do often feel similarly to what Ryder was expressing. The mode of learning and showing what you've learned in school is largely through reading and writing so even though being dyslexic has nothing to do with intelligence, it's easy to understand why students can be made to feel like they aren't smart. It's heartbreaking and I love how Finn somehow knew to explain it to Ryder as his brain "just working a little differently." The world needs neurodiversity! 💜 And yes, there are reading specialists and school psychologists who conduct testing in public schools like we saw in this episode, though it of course comes with a lot more red tape than we saw here! And daily reading services would be intensive and pretty unlikely. Also I just have to say, as someone with an eating disorder history, the Kitty and Marley storyline is really disturbing and gross. 👎 And I love BLAM! 🥰

2023-02-03 19:34:07 +0000 UTCI love superheroes and so I liked the theme of the episode, but like always there's good and not so good with the transition of storylines. The good for me was that this was their first attempt at trying to flesh out these new characters, especially Ryder and Jake. The scenes with Finn in the hallway were very well acted and touching. I like that Jake is showing more of his deeper layers instead of acting like he has a chip on his shoulder. I always felt like he acted so tough because he was trying to keep people at arm's length so it's nice to see him let people in. And I loved how they had him call Puck and that they showed some maturity in Puck through his advice, but still had him keep that Puckerman charm in some ways. Having Jake admit his fear to Ryder took a lot of guts, but he actually didn't fight the spirit of the assignment which was nice to see. Kitty is another character that intrigues me because she wears a shell to protect herself just like Jake and the chip on her shoulder is large and it comes out in enhanced anger and manipulation. She's very smart and calculating and has a pretty good sense about people which is why her manipulation works in most cases. She was hoping for Marley to just be devastated and sad when she pushed her about Ryder postponing their date. She was genuinely shocked at Marley's reaction and asking Jake out. Marley is a teenager, easily manipulated and that brought out her rebellious side. She liked Jake before she liked Ryder, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I liked their performance of Some Nights and I loved that they closed the episode with that and loved seeing Finn smiling so proudly at them. Next episode's opening is my favorite of all time...can't wait to see your reaction, Audrey!

2023-02-03 07:11:42 +0000 UTCTotally agree about the Marley thing. I do think Kitty was influencing her in some way but she still didn’t need to act like Ryder was being unreasonable. The episodes get better after this luckily. We see more NY POVs as well. Also Holding Out for A Hero is really good, but no cover touches Shrek 2 for me.😂

2023-02-03 05:19:23 +0000 UTCThat test can be done at the school with parent consent. But I was in the room when my son started on those tests. I had him do at the school and again by a licensed child psychologist. It looked very similar to the ADHD testing he did. My baby has been on that IEP since he was about 8. He would come home from school completely broken with no fight left in him and let me tell you when an 8yr old comes home defeated like that it is absolutely devistating. Once we tested and diagnosed the put him on a mild med called focalin. His grades, his happiness everything shot up over night. He finally stopped feeling stupid or like he couldn't do work like the other kids. I dont understand how his parents could have watch the boy struggle and suffer for 16 years and do nothing but tell him "try harder".
